All gather, red n' teary eyed, as Colleen and Victor are wheeled off to surgery that will end one life, and save the other.

As Phyllis returns (to rub her in laws the wrong way), Sharon and Nick deal with their loss. But after scattering their baby's ashes, Sharon insists Nick return to his family.

Unaware of Adam's involvement, Nick's devastated when Sharon tells him that Faith died.

Off to China, Nick looks forward to some time alone (while Phyllis and Sharon have a couple of run ins) ... When Billy convinces Jill to see the woman he's sure is his grandmother, they arrive in time to hear Kay tell the doctor she's really Marge (in order to be released).

The Winter's Thanksgiving dinner is capped off by Anna being taken away to foster care - seems Yolanda's reported her missing ... At the Mausoleum, Ester makes it clear that she's no longer Jill's maid - then all ooh and ah - Chloe's having a baby girl - her middle name? Katherine? ... After a pitiful and awkward dinner, Jack pays Victor a visit ... Rolling out of bed, Paul and Nikki join the Newman family at the club (where Sharon and Phyllis make one another squirm) .. Oh Joy - Heather and JR plan a Christmas wedding.

Nikki finally tells Victor to go to hell - then goes to bed - with Paul ... Liv warns Neil against marrying Karen - she's sweet but there's no chemistry (like there was with Dru - and could be with Tyra). Nevertheless, Neil puts the rock on Karen's finger ... While Sharon's giving Jack 'one last chance', Brad and Phyllis are working together - sure the marriage will be over any day now .. Nick confirms for Victor that Jack was involved in the diary JR 'found'.

Accepting Paul's offer to stay with him, Nikki then gets summoned to visit Victor (where she finds him in Ashley's arms) ... Discussing the kiss, Nick and Sharon agree to blame it on Paris and chocolate croissants ... Sharon walks out on Jack (who's just announced the Abbott's have regained control of Jabot) ... Phyllis confronts Jack on his business expenses - and inability to control his wandering wife (then goes to Brad for help) ... While JR plans to move Heather abroad (to follow the money he's moved), Nick and Mike realize (thanks to Sharon) that Jack's the one who helped JR get the diary published.

Tyra's congratulations aren't quite as enthusiastic as the rest of the folks Neil and Karen announce their engagement to ... At a vintage book store to meet 'Sonny', Lily instead runs into both Cane (with Chloe) and Billy ... Ashley may think Jack's crazy to partner up with Gloria - but dammit - here's my proxy - now go bring Jabot back to the Abbott's ... Lowell's sure Gloria will recant her damning statement - despite Mike's certainty that she won't.

As a very long day wraps up, Victor's hauled off to jail (where the visiting JR is told he'll be squashed like a cockroach - after he's already been given the smack down by Nick) ... A call tips Phyllis off that Jack lied to her - and his wife - he was in Mexico ... Despite Jack being a great stepfather, Sharon still doesn't seem to think him a great husband ... Paul (at Nikki's request) heads off to investigate JR's involvement in the diary.

At Kay's memorial luncheon, friends and family continue to catch up ... Phyllis isn't impressed to see Sharon latching onto Nick - and then Brad ... Sharon and Lauren butt heads over Noah and Eden's relationship (unaware that the pair have skipped school) ... Tipped off by Brad, Heather heads to the ranch to arrest Victor (who's kissed and made up with Victoria - but, with Ashley at his side, requested Nikki's things be packed up) ... Meanwhile, Murphy takes 'Marge' home (where she's cleaned up and fed her favourite - pork n beans) ... After Jack ends their partnership, Glo learns she's named in Kay's will.

All are shocked when Victor shows up for Kay's funeral - but exits just as quickly as he arrives (without so much as acknowledging his family) ... Uh oh - JR hears that Frank Ellis is offering juicy information to avoid jail ... Facing a plumbing emergency at CL's, Kevin's forced to dip into Kay's bag o' bills ... Finding 'Marge' unconscious on the river bank, Murphy revives her and takes her 'home'.

Friends and family from afar return to GC to pay final respects to Katherine - and offer condolensces to her family .. Confused, Marge realizes this ain't her funeral - and goes looking for Kay (who awakens near the river) ... Devastated - then mocked and insulted by Jill, Nikki's day gets even worse - patronized by Ashley, she's then stunned when Victor arrives - and ignores her to sit beside Ashley.

Annoyed with Nikki involving herself in planning Kay's funeral, Jill pours her heart out to her dead mother - followed by touching words from Nikki ... Amber's decision to publish Kay's memoirs, doesn't go over well with Jill .... Despite Jack's warning about the connection between Nick and Sharon, Phyllis claims she trusts her husband. With no evidence of the hissy fit she throws, Phyllis welcomes Nick home with a passionate kiss ... Karen accepts Neil's proposal ... JR breezes through his interview with the FBI - but worries when Frank's arrested. Paul pretends to approve of Heather's engagement to JR.

Nick abandons the search for his father to accompany Sharon in bringing both Noah and Eden home ... Jack's troubled to learn Nick's in Paris ... Phyllis returns home to her daughter ... News of Katherine's death spreads. Jill and Nikki are both inconsolable. Chloe comforts her mother and Cane - as Billy brings Lily along to the estate.

Eden and Noah run into trouble while visiting Jim Morrison's grave ... Seeing Nick and Sharon kiss, Phyllis gets outta Paris as quickly as possible - unseen ... Assembled at the estate, Cane, Chloe, Ester, Amber and Daniel are horrified when Jill calls to update - she and Nikki have found Kay - dead at the side of the road! ... One afternoon in bed with Ashley is enough to make Victor Newman feel 'alive' again.

With Phyllis overseeing the cover shoot - and wondering where her beloved hubby is, a carefree Nick and Sharon tour the city of romance.

While Amber tries to figure out what Kevin's up to, Kay and Marge have a car accident while heading back to pick up the money.

At first outraged that Jill's brought her lawyer to Kay's appointment, Nikki relents after witnessing Kay's senior moment. Asking for just one more day before undergoing tests, Kay escapes ( to rescue Marge from the bottle) ... Ashley walks up and down the streets of Paris (where Phyllis is headed to surprise Nick) ... Kevin finally decides to call Kay about the bag she left behind - but it's Marge who answers - and she knows nothing about any money ... Now moved into the penthouse, Billy sells the paintings of Lily (who asks Sonny to meet her face to face).

More comes out regarding Lowell and Gloria's history - seems she gave evidence against Lowell - in order to keep Mikey out of foster care ...With Ashley, and now Nick in France, looking for Victor - a last minute glitch sends Phyllis on her way too ... Though she's accepted a date with the detective, Tyra continues to make Karen (and now Liv) uneasy ... Kay withdraws money for Marge's rehab - but leaves it at CL's (where the down and out Kevin finds it).

When she and Phyllis realize JR sold the journal, Vikki threatens to 'bury' him (with his lies). Ashley goes to the French parish looking for Victor (who's already moved on). Nick's on his way ... Jill continues to bully encourage Kay to go see the specialist ... Lily snaps when Chloe carries on about Cane and the baby she's carrying (though Cane still claims to love Lily) ... Mike realizes that the mystery woman, Tanya, who testified against Lowell - is none other than Gloria.

With the journal coming out, Neil and the Newman kids do damage control in the form of a press conference debunking it ... Unaware that her whining and pleading has convinced Ashley, Nick too decides to go to France ... His concern for his Grandpa erased by Jack's gift of spending money, Noah's off to France. Set to meet him the last day, Sharon (who now knows Jack helped JR) does NOT want his company ... Yes, Heather's pissed at JR for selling the journal and not telling her - but yes - she'll marry him! ... After an AA meeting with Kay, Marge immediately falls off the wagon ... Kay returns home to hushed warnings from Ester - Jill's enlisted Cane and Billy in her bid to take control away from Kay.

Learning of the diary, and somehow getting copies, Heather obtains an international warrant for Victor's arrest ... Jack updates JR that it's to hit the newsstands - tomorrow! ... Taking her suspicions (re: Jack and JR) to Heather, Sharon manages to get a copy of the journal - and takes it to Nick .... No sooner has the Priest updated Nick that his father's there - than the depressed Victor moves on ... Nikki meets Ashley in London .... Kay protests Jill's attempt oust her from CI - then agrees to help Marge quit drinking.

It's Halloween in GC (yawn) ... Spooky happenings at the tackhouse set Vikki's nerves on edge ... Across town, Billy hosts a party (where Lily waits for her mystery date - and Colleen and Amber annoy one another) .. Carded at the door, Noah's evening isn't exactly a bust - he's stunned when Eden kisses him.

Nick returns home to reassure Phyllis that she needn't be jealous of Sharon ... Heather drops the charges against Brad - then visits NE to pester the Newmans. Getting an idea on who might be able to reach Victor, Nikki hops on a plane ... While a loyal customer helps Marge, Kay upsets Jill with the news that her memoirs are indeed going to be published (causing Jill to make another doctor's appointment - her mother's losing it) ... Phyllis catches Brad and Sharon celebrating at CL's.

Gloria continues to work on ingratiating herself to Katherine ... JR and Frank realize they're been duped by Jack ... Finding JR throttling her husband is the last straw for Sharon (or perhaps it's Jeff's arrival to talk about the plan to take over Jabot) - either way, she's tired of being lied to - candles and bubbly won't fix it this time ... Getting no info from Phyllis, Heather settles for feeding her insecurities that Nick's cheating with Sharon ... By the time they've landed in Buenos Aires, Nick's managed to handcuff the Mexican agent who's tailing him.

Now seeming to team up with Frank to expose Jack, JR's unaware that Jack's already managed to erase the tape of his voice ... Meeting with her look alike, Marge, Kay reminisces - then offers to help the woman she credits with saving her life ... While Nikki and Vikki continue to ponder the significance of the Koons egg, Victor's spending the night at the church - praying ... Returning home to Gloria, Jeff makes it clear that he still has the upper hand.

Meeting with the publisher, Jack's told the diary will be published next issue (despite JR's article NOT being published - and Frank getting cold feet - demanding JR's mysterious partner deliver the rest of his money - in person) ... Kay ditches Jill - and skips her doctor's appointment to meet her look alike in a bar ... Realizing they're being bugged, Nick fools Heather and the feds once again - planning to take them on a trip to Buenos Aires. The fact that's his anniversary doesn't stop Nick from dropping by Sharon's on his way out of town.

Mike continues to learn about that fateful night - and his parent's history (as he prepares Lowell's case) ... Now signed up for the school trip to France, Noah needles Eden to follow suit ... When Cane takes note of Billy paying attention to Lily, he's told to mind his own business (while Billy assumes Chloe will support his pursuit of Lily).

After a dinner party at Daniel and Amber's, Kevin finally confesses to a persistent and suspicious Jana that he did indeed move Katherine's car ... Jill foils Gloria's plan - arriving as Kay's half way through signing over her stock, she rips up the contract. Seemingly agreeing to see a doctor - and drive home with Jill, Kay escapes in a taxi. In a bar, a woman identical to Kay is drinking like she means it ... Phyllis isn't exactly happy to hear Amber moved in with Daniel ... A mysterious woman in a 40 year old group photo, turns out to be Gloria (who then shares that Lowell took a stand against violence - because of his young son)

Victor acts on his promise to cut all communication - firing Mike, and throwing his cell phone away. Meanwhile, Heather vows to bring him in ... A confused Katherine's about to sign her stock over to Gloria, when a worried Jill arrives ... Billy fakes joy as he accepts Cane's job offer (VP of Marketing) - but later grumbles to Jack about his jackass brother ... JR lies to Paul about why he's lurking around seedy motels that rent by the hour.

Looks like both Eden and Noah will be going along on the school trip to Paris, France ... Nick decides to take over his mother's role of international spy (then updates Vikki that the chateau in France burnt to the ground) ... Jack seems to be surrpounded by 'schmucks' - Sharon easily buys his 'identity theft' story - and JR's busy working on his expose (to be published alongside Victor's diary) ... Questioning Nikki at the ranch, Heather soon finds herself on the phone with Victor Newman.

As planned, Nikki's interrogated by the feds - but nothing in the plans mention Paul busting in to defend Nikki ... Jack's dictation done, JR passes the recorder and journal along to the forger .... Sharon and Phyllis agree to act professionally towards one another ... Sharon's puzzled by a message left by Jack's credit card company (regarding suspicious charges to the Motor Arms Motel) ... Marinating in memories and alcohol, Victor torches the French chateau he bought for Sabrina.

At Heather's request, Paul goes to ask Nikki about Vic's whereabouts. Denying she knows anything, Nikki puts her plan in motion - leading the authorities on a wild goose chase (while JT spreads Vic's belongings and DNA around a hotel room) ... JR's understandably creeped out when Jack really gets into his role - dictating the diary of Victor Newman ... Billy's not nearly as bummed out as Colleen that Daniel and Amber are 'starting fresh' together.

As the Winter's worry about Tyra and Anna, who should appear? Yup - Tyra and Anna .... Ready to stop wallowing, Lily's off to visit Aunt Olivia in NY ... Cane gives Chloe (or rather, the baby) a gift .... When Amber gives Daniel an hour to come meet her, she doesn't seem to mind that he's a tad late. And while Daniel's telling Amber he loves her, Colleen's searching for him ... Initially angry, Kay softens as she later reassures Jill that she's fine.

Mike manages to talk Lowell out of the warehouse (where he's promptly cuffed, arrested and read his rights) ... Unaware that she's exchanging text messages with Billy, Lily's good mood evaporates when Chloe makes a big, public production of her baby kicking. Never the less, she assures Cane she's just fine ... Jill joins Ester in worrying about that tough old bird Kay (who's lookalike is drinking at the bar) ... Colleen's probably the most hurt/shocked when Daniel's latest radio broadcast spat with Amber and Phyllis results in him blurting out that he still loves Amber .. Nikki sends JT off with a suitcase and a mission.

Despite Jeff packing up and leaving her, Gloria goes to Lowells's aid - bringing Eden home to Lauren (while Mike arrives at the warehouse to talk Lowell out) ... There's much jostling for position as Jill throws a dinner party to welcome Billy home. Kay caps the evening off with a 'senior moment' ... Nikki and the kids plot to foil the cops on Victor's behalf .... JR's once again thrown out of the ranch, but (thanks to Heather) uses the letter Victor wrote him as a sample for Ellis.

Nikki finally tells the kids that Victor's suspected of killing Walter Palin, then still unable to reach him, comes up with an idea ... Unaware that Mike's new evidence is enough to get him out on bail, Lowell escapes (after being taken to the hospital) with Eden's help ... So busy hiring a crook to forge Victor's diary (via JR), Jack's OK with Sharon going back to work at NE - for Nick.

Getting grief from both Mike and Jeff, Lowell plans his escape ... Mike meets with Howard (who's convinced of Lowell's innocence) - then, is pleased when Glo finds a memo that might also help his case ... The Winter's and Kay learn that Anna's no longer in music school - and seems to have vanished, along with Tyra ... Nikki's worried when Heather badgers and threatens her - before accosting Vikki. Mike, however, still won't divulge Vic's whereabouts.

While Phyllis and Nikki butt heads at RS, Nick's agreed to do double duty at NE. He'll be off helping to stabilize the company, knowing his mother and wife can handle it ... Heather ID's the photos JR has on his laptop - then interrogates Brad ... Jobless, JR tries and fails to get the cooperation from the Newman's and Neil - so changing his mind, agrees to work with Jack in fabricating and publishing Victor's diary ... Jack (aka Satan in a pin striped suit) confronts Phyllis in her editor's letter.

The Newman's discord over Sharon, leads to lovemaking (while likewise, the Abbott's hit the sheets in a bid to get their relationship back on track) ... Hiding out from the storm, Jana reads Tarot cards for Kevin, Daniel and Amber ... Chloe assures Billy that the baby she's carrying is Cane's - not his .... Stuck in an elevator, Lily and Cane kiss (unaware that Billy's watching).

With Eden furious that her father lied to her, Mike and Lowell disagree on whether to put her on the stand as a character witness ... Nick's first annoyed that Phyllis gave Sharon the idea that Jack was lying to her. Further annoyed to read the editor's letter, he makes a beeline to apologize to Sharon ... Billy realizes that Gloria's Jack's silent partner .... With Jack pressuring her to move in on Jabot NOW, Glo uses Kevin to create a 'senior moment' (by moving her car).

When the warehouse party's raided, both Eden and Noah have some 'splainin' to do ... Annoyed that Nick's ridden to the rescue of Ms Helpless again, Phyllis runs her original 'editor's letter' (dissin' the Abbott's) ... Jack returns home to see Nick and Sharon hugging through the front door ... Now OK with Colleen being Jabot's Fresh Face, Lily and her BFF register her for online dating ... At Cane's get together, Billy's keeps Chloe's secret - but is surprised to learn another (she's Ester's daughter, Kate).

After striking a deal to publish the Victor Newman tell-all, Jack now needs to come up with a forged diary (without JR's help - as he now feel's it's not right') ... With Noah off at a party, Sharon's call interrupts Nicks night of passion (much to Phyllis' annoyance) ... Eden's snuck out to the warehouse party (after being caught skipping school) ... Billy's stunned to find Chloe at Cane's place ... After Chloe blasts her, Colleen tells Lily she's changed her mind about taking the Fresh Face gig.

Nikki again blames Phyllis for Victor taking off - then leaves Victor a message saying his children are suffering ... Depressed, Lily tells Colleen she is indeed not happy with her taking her Fresh Face role (though leaves out that she's unimpressed with her pursuing Daniel too). Mildly concerned about her friendship with Lily, Colleen accepts the job (one that Jill's dissuaded Cane from giving to Brad Carlton's daughter) ... After being introduced to his brother, Cane, Billy shacks up with Amber.

While Jack manages to bring Billy and Traci onboard with his plan, Ashley won't go along with anything 'underhanded' (while surprisingly, John would still like Jack to get over it) .... After Lily quits her Jabot job, Cane offers the position to Colleen ... As coached by Gloria, Kevin tests Kay (who passes - but then confides to Ester that there's something wrong with her) ... Unaware that Billy's working for Jack, Jill's delighted to see him.

While the Newman kids are determined to find their father, Nikki suggests they leave him be. Mike informs that Vic's NOT missing (and is in fact, on the jet) ... Lowell agrees to hire Mike - while Lauren convinces to go to school (for the first time) ...Jack works to convince his sisters to help him gain control of Jabot (with Billy showing up as his ace in the hole) .. Jill gets a less than enthusiastic welcome back by Cane - and then taken down another peg by Kay (who again slips up - this time with the Bardwell's).

By the time the doctor, Vikki and finally Nick have decided Victor needs care - and convince him to voluntarily sign himself in for treatment, Vic's already one step ahead of them - and out the door! ... Bounced out of the Mexican bar, JR materializes at the hospital - see? Dad's nuts - Oh, what a story it'll be ... In the eleventh hour, Mike rides to the rescue - his client, Lowell, will NOT be extradited ... Tipped off by Phyllis, Sharon frantically tries to reach Jack - and when she does, he's with Ashley, in New York.

While Victor's family considers committing him to the psych ward, Heather recovers from her fainting spell to wheel her IV down the hall to interrogate the man ... In Mexico, Jack and JR continue to investigate - unable to put the pieces together for the 'true' story, they consider fabricating one ... While Eden spreads sunshine all about, Mike's busy tending to Victor - and blasting tattle tail Jeffrey (aware that Lowell will be extradited that night).

Eden's not exactly open to helping 'loser' Noah find new friends at GC's 'loser' high school ... Investigating with JR in Mexico, Jack claims to be in LA with Ashley - and nixes Sharon's attempt to join him there. If only she thought to make a quick call to Forrester - like Phyllis did ... Victor dances and kisses Sabrina - but isn't allowed to follow her into the light. Nick finds him collapsed on the floor of the gallery.

While Billy and Amber have sex in bed, Daniel and Colleen decide the gallery wall is a more appropriate spot ... Now cleared by the SEC, Jill spends some awkward time with Chloe - then when Cane arrives, tells him they need to work together to keep Kay in line (regardless of the fact that Kay seems to be losin' it) ... With a hippie, activist lawyer offering to represent his 'hero', Lowell, Mike's role is to take care of his daughter, Eden.

Admittedly 'bothered', Daniel removes the 'sold' sticker from a sketch Billy purchased ... Back in GC, Mike's troubled when Lowell's arrested (thanks to blabbermouth Bardwell) - and confused when his very angry 'sister' comes knocking - no, pounding - at his door ... Cane can only think of 'what might have been' when attending Chloe's ultra sound (unaware that Chloe's bribed the tech to reverse the conception/due date by a coupla weeks)

In NY, Daniel's show is a sale - and he's sellin' out! When Daniel wants to be friends again, Amber's about to head home - rejected (and much to Colleen's smug delight) - when Liam shows up! ... Jack bails JR out - then it's off to Mexico to uncover whatever Victor was doing in Mexico - it's time for payback! ... With the feds hot on his trail, Lowell gets a few precious moments with the Baldwin's - before being arrested at the bus station.
