Yes, Nick was watching over their son all night (in the neonatal unit) Can you ever forgive me? Sage kept Adam’s secret because she didn’t want to lose her family. She worries she’ll be arrested. Don’t think about Adam – our little boy needs you, Nick says. You haven’t said he’ll make it, Sage worries.

Mike’s now beside Adam as Paul and Chris question him. Ignoring Mike, Adam tells the story of hitting Delia – but only later realizing it. He didn’t confess because Chloe offered Delia’s eyes. After that, Adam got caught up with self preservation. He’s confessing now because Chelsea and Connor deserve better – and he deserves what’s coming to him.

Your little boy’s a fighter, a doctor reports – then takes Nick out to ‘sign some paperwork’. If our son isn’t going to make it, Sage needs to see him, Nick suspects the worst. That’s a good idea, the doctor walks off. Back in Sage’s room, Nick avoids her worried questions – it’s time you meet your son.

That’s everything, Adam concludes. Not quite, Paul asks about another incident that happened that night. Again ignoring Mike, Adam relays Billy taking him to Delia’s memorial, then to her school – then he was going to turn me into the police. Things got heated – I lost control of the car and drove off the road. That’s it? Yes – that’s it. Mike wonders what they’re getting at. Adam forgot to tell us about this, Paul holds up a bagged gun.

Vikki and Billy have the kids and luggage ready to go away for the perfect two day getaway.

Paul knows Billy had this gun in the car – it was found at the crash site. We know he held you at gunpoint – we know it was discharged. As Mike again tries to shush him, Adam doesn’t want Billy held accountable for anything that happened that night.

No sooner has Billy loaded the car than he gets a call – now? Yeah, OK. The cops want to talk to me. About what? Vikki asks. The night I confronted Adam about Delia.

Abby continues to appeal to Victor – and rewards him with a delighted kiss when he agrees. When Kevin grumbles about Paragon, Victor has an idea to stop it, but needs to iron out a few things before ‘sharing’. Who walks out like that? Kev gripes. Victor Newman – and Abby feels sorry for whomever in his cross-hairs.

As Jack leaves a message for Ashley, Billy arrives at the station – not surprised to see his brother and assuming he hired Mike. Not here, Jack and Vikki say. You’re no better than Victor, covering for that bastard! Billy snaps. After Paul and Chris take Billy into the office, Jack blabs to Vikki – he was afraid it would come to this (the cops coming after Billy for attempted murder)

In Paul’s office, Billy’s grilled – is his memory any clearer than when he was first questioned??? We struggled over the gun, Billy claims. But yes, he did plan to kill Adam (not bring him in)

Abby tells Kevin not to bury himself in work – she tried that after Colleen died. Talk to me, she offers. Kevin should have known it was Adam. He fooled all of us, Abby reminds – and tells Kevin not to blame himself for taking Chloe on a date the night Delia died. It’s Adam’s fault.

Jack drops by the penthouse. Chelsea’s sorry she didn’t warn Jack before telling Billy. Jack updates that Billy’s being questioned too – about the night Adam died. No, Billy didn’t kill Adam 0 but he wanted to.

Billy had Adam on his knees – begging for his life. He decided to bring him to justice instead. Anything else? No – you’re free to go – but don’t leave town. Paul and Chris may have more questions.
