Billy whines – he wanted to go public with Phyllis. The press would have a field day, Vikki’d go to court to get the kids, Jack would punch him in the face. Phyllis now wants to put her marriage back together like nothing happened. I got dumped – hope you’re happy. OMG, you love her, Jill’s devastated to realize.

You made decisions that weren’t yours to make, Chelsea rants at Sharon (who was only trying to help and assumed Chelsea would take some time off) Chelsea’s mourned Adam before – in fact, that’s when she did some of her best work. Chelsea then suggests that Sharon take the day off to reevaluate her job description. Passing Sharon on her way in, Chloe tells Chelsea that delaying the new line was her decision – blame me.

Chelsea knows her heart was in the right place but Chloe shouldn’t have delayed delivery without speaking to her. Chloe was just talking to Nick and ….. Whoa, what does Nick have to do with this? Chelsea scowls.

At CL’s, Sharon whines to Nick – Chelsea went ballistic and kicked her out for the day (but I might not have a job anymore) Nick explains that Chelsea’s lashing out due to grief – don’t take it personally. OK, Sharon won’t get a job teaching kindergarten just yet. Nick’s off to the studio to have a little intervention – he’s hoping he can convince her to take some time off. Chelsea and Connor need you, Sharon’s glad they have Nick in their corner.

Meeting Summer at the park, Phyllis is delighted to hear she’s going back to school (as inspired by her Grandpa; who says the truce between the Newmans and Abbott’s won’t last) Phyllis then informs that she and Jack are going to marriage counseling. She opened up and Jack shut down.

Jack’s at the estate looking for Collin. Since he’s out on a walk, Jack blabs that Collin asked for a million dollars for information on my wife. He can tell that Jill knows what that info is – is it worth the money? OK, maybe Jill DOES know what this is about.

We all think you’re getting back to work too early, Chloe says – but if this what Chelsea want’s, Chloe won’t argue. She told Nick the same thing but he thinks you should clutch onto your grief. We know better, Chloe understands Chelsea’s need to move forward. She’ll call the warehouse, arrange the delivery and tell the stores to clear some space for your fabulous designs.

Sharon doesn’t need Nick to put in a good word for her with Chelsea – but thanks. Stop fighting my fights for me, she smiles over her shoulder. You could stop getting in fights, Nick grins as he exits. Now alone, Sharon answers her phone – hello? Hello? She makes a call to trace the unknown call – this is happening a lot; it’s harassment. Getting nowhere, Sharon hangs up.

What could Collin possibly have on Phyllis? Jill scoffs and warns Jack not to give her husband a penny, never mind a million dollars. Thanks for the warning, Jack leaves. The front door barely closed, Collin comes through the back. Jill reminds him of his promise. Collin promised not to blackmail BILLY. Jack and his bank account are off limits to you! she insists.

Still at the park, Phyllis thinks maybe Victor’s right; the two families may never get alone. Back to Jack shutting her down after therapy. Suddenly wise after being played by Austin and Luca, Summer declares Jack a keeper. Phyllis wishes everyone were as open and honest as Summer. She then spots Billy.

I confided in you and you turned around and tried to cash in, Jill accuses Collin. Don’t you sweetheart me. Phyllis has gone back to Jack – Billy’s alone (until Jill can break Vikki and Travis up that is) Not wanting Jack to find out that his wife’s been cheated with his brother, Jill demands Collin convince Jack that he doesn’t know anything.

Go register for your classed, Phyllis sends Summer off – then accuses Billy of coming to the park to look for her. Why would I do that? Billy says – there’s nothing left to say.

Chloe arrives as Sharon’s on the phone trying to cancel her postponement of the deliveries. It’s all been taken care of, Chloe updates – and yes you still have a job. Chelsea knows it was my decision. Sharon’s then surprised that Chloe disagrees with Nick – you know you can’t just snap your fingers and get over the loss of a loved one. In fact, some people never do.

Nick arrives at the studio with coffee and donuts. The real reason he’s there? I ran into Sharon. No, she didn’t send me over. But someone does need to talk some sense into Chelsea; take some time to grieve for Adam. Help your son adjust. So, now I’m a bad Mother? No – an excellent Mother, but you don’t have to pretend you’re not in pain.
