THAT’S your question – do I have a marriage? Lily has a question of her own – why did you sleep with that woman? Cane didn’t plan it, was wasted and doesn’t remember. Lily keeps picturing him with Juliet. Sure I cheated but you lied and had me find out in the most humiliatingly possible way. Is this payback for Joe Clark? No, we got past that, Cane replies.

After some verbal back and forth with Charlie, Reed leaves Mattie to joke with her brother that they should have a double date – he can bring Zoey. The twins leave laughing.

Pouring Devon a drink, Hilary’s sorry he found out this way. His concern for Lily is justified. Juliet’s not lying. Pouring another shot, Devon rants and raves about Cane cheating on his sister, the twins will be crushed, guilty or not he’ll be labelled guilty of sexual harassment the rest of his life.

Back at the club, Tessa has no information to share regarding Nikki. As she tries to escape, Victor asks her to open for Nikki’s performance – to alleviate pressure. If you hear from Nikki let me know. Agreeing but obviously holding back, Tessa leaves Victor suspicious.

Thank God you’re home, Tessa barges in as soon as Mariah opens her front door to relay her conversation with the scary and hard-to-read Victor. You have a right to be cautious, Mariah will only say that Victor was the one pulling the strings when she played a ghost. She then puts on the sequel to the rom-com they watched the other night. Devon? He’s busy.

Pausing at the door, Devon has no right to ask but would Hilary keep this Ashby mess off the air? If you cared about me at all, don’t make this more painful for Lily. Hilary will always care. The door now closed between them both look full of regret and longing.

Cane will do and say whatever Lily wants of him. You didn’t just have a one night stand, you may have fathered a child, Lily has no idea what to say. Cane will do whatever Lily needs to make this up to her. This isn’t just about us, this involves the kids – Lily’s pissed. Mom? Dad? on cue, Mattie and Charlie come home to wonder what’s wrong.

It’s not money we’re after – Jack and Ashley care and don’t want their Mother being taken advantage of. Dina understands that her kids are upset but this is her decision and they must live with it.

Gloria and Graham are flirting up a storm as he helps the helpless secretary with her computer. His cologne? Dare by Brash n Sassy. Interrupted by Dina, Graham’s lead off by the hand – and as Ashley’s telling Jack to live with it, Gloria’s grinning to herself.

Down at BnS, Reed and Vikki are telling Mike all about open mic night at Underground. Somehow managing to feign interest, he’ll have to make it down there. After Mike leaves, Vikki shrugs off ‘work stuff’ and detects that Reed’s interested in a girl. Handing him some money, she tells Reed that she’s decided to settle the lawsuit. Sometimes you have to do things you hate.

Vikki’s settling the case, Lily and Cane tell the kids. That doesn’t mean the accusations are true, it’s just easier than going to court. Everyone can just move on then, Charlie approves. But if that’s the case, Mattie wonders why her parents aren’t happier.

When Devon interrupts movie time, Tessa leaves to work on some new songs. Mariah’s told that Devon went to see Hilary – he has news about Cane and Lily and it’s not good.

Holding hands, Lily and Cane manage to reassure Charlie, but Mattie lingers to ask more questions. Put it out of your head, everything’s fine, Lily lies.

Finding Ashley drinking at the club’s bar, Victor hears that Graham Bloodworth is ‘better than any of us thought’ (at being an opportunist)
