Nate joins Nikki at the club to say that the neurologists’ report was good. He’s worried about Vikki – has she been under stress? Nikki laughs it off as work stress. No, there’s no personal issues (except what Nate can find himself online) She appreciates his concern but it’s not necessary. At the bar, Rey’s ears twitch.

Billy updates Phyllis – the paperwork delivered this morning pertains to Dark Horse owning the locations he’s leasing. No, it won’t be an issue, just an annoyance. Billy plans to go to the trade show in Philadelphia. Summer comes down and is sent off to work so her Mom can talk to Billy about work. But once alone, Phyllis wants to talk about Summer. Was the coffee spill really an accident? No, she doesn’t suspect Billy, she suspects Summer. Billy thinks that crazy. Phyllis does not.

Vikki wonders why Victor would want to buy Nick’s company out from under him. Because Victor wants him back in the ‘family fold’. Vikki suggests her Dad focus on the success of NE’s real estate division. Victor reminds Vikki that she answers to him (and walks out) Nikki then calls to tip Vikki off that Nate’s concerned about her. I’ll handle Nate, Vikki huffs and hangs up,

At Jabot, Summer volunteers to give up her weekend to pitch Fenmore’s at the Philly trade show. Everyone will know Fenmore’s is still the premier store for cosmetics. Lauren’s suspicious but finally persuaded to give Summer this chance to prove herself. OK, you can go, she agrees.

Rey’s about to leave but instead orders another drink to observe Victor join Nikki’s table to rave about Dr Nate. He’s thorough. He doesn’t miss a trick, Nikki agrees.

Back at Jabot, Lauren interrupts Summer making travel plans to announce that since Jabot’s CEO is going to the trade show, she should represent Fenmore’s herself. Unable to convince Lauren otherwise, Summer’s left to call the travel agent back to ask where Billy Abbott’s staying. When Kyle comes along, Summer boasts that she’ll be surprising Billy in Philidelphia – make sure the car has a full tank of gas (she plans to win their bet) Getting a call from Mariah (who is not OK) Kyle’s heading back to CL’s.

Phyllis doesn’t think it crazy that Summer would develop an attraction to Billy and who knows what would have happened if she hadn’t come back for her phone. It’s not your imagination, Billy admits that Summer’s a flirt – but so what? Let’s go to work (he avoids Phyllis’ glare by busying himself with his briefcase)

Rey approaches the Newman’s table to introduce himself as a big admirer of them both for their charity work. Meeting them means a lot. Victor and Nikki appreciate the praise and agree to a selfie’ (though Victor’s more interested in his phone)
