Yes, Paul spoke to Lily. She saw Joe at the bar but couldn’t remember what time. Joe did take a walk but not near Avery’s apartment. No one saw him. Paul’s not going to arrest Joe, but will keep and eye on him.

Back at the lab, Kyle (with Billy) tells Phyllis that if Gabe doesn’t object to a paternity test, he might indeed be Yack’s son. She’s not sure that’ll solve their problem. There’s a lot more going on than we know.

Returning to the club, Adam’s happy to hear that Yack’s solved the DNA test problem. Good, but Phyllis is a problem too. Yack knows how to handle her. Adam then tests Yack – remember when she almost burned down the cabin? You put it out with a fire extinguisher. Yeah, an unforgettable night, both chuckle. Of course Yack doesn’t remember what dish Phyllis was trying to cook – because it never happened! Who the hell are you!? Adam growls.

Next: Avery’s on the phone with Joe – I’m sick of this war between us Joe. I want it to stop before it goes too far … On a bed that looks exactly like the one she just slept with Joe on, Lily flashes back – and pushes Cane off her. Wait. I can’t do this. I’m sorry.

My Thoughts: Most honest line of the day goes to Lily. I’m a hypocrite. Yes! Yes, you are. And you were before you slept with Joe. You’re paid to manage the club, not have sex in it. There’s a name for women who have sex and get paid. And since Lily’s so worried about her kids, why doesn’t she go home to them – EVER.. How convenient that Paul didn’t lock Avery’s door (allowing Lily to overhear them discussing Joe) Are we expected to believe that dress Lily was wearing fits Avery? They don’t exactly share the same body type…. With all the paternity surprises occurring in GC (not to mention Jack’s past) why is Billy so adamant that Gabe isn’t his? Jack having one of his many past flings result in an illegitimate child would be the most realistic part of this entire storyline. I’m only surprised more haven’t come knocking at his door to introduce themselves to Dad … What exactly was Paul doing driving around in Avery’s neighbourhood at this time of night? And doesn’t he ever file a report? And if Adam was brought in for questioning, shouldn’t Paul have been at the station? He was the one to arrest Victor after all.. Lily’s so concerned about Joe telling their secret – that she confides that secret in a woman she barely knows??? … After just busting Cane with surveillance footage, isn’t she worried that someone (possibly Cane) will see footage of her and Joe entering the same suite? What if Paul asks Lily for the surveillance footage to verify what time Joe left the club? I doubt his walk was long – given that he’s still walking with the help of a cane.
