Victor’s sorry to hear what happened to Jack, but denies responsibility. Phyllis updates Vikki that Jack’s still fighting for his life and challenges Victor to deny her accusations to her face. She then turns on Vikki – are you going to protect your Father? Knowing Jack’s blood is on his hands??

As Marco arranges a flight to the Caribbean, Marisa does his shirt up (assuming she’s going with him) Or is she being left behind again!? No – Marco’s taking her with him. But she must see if Jack’s OK first. Marco chuckles when Marisa grabs and aims his gun. No my love, you’re not going anywhere.

Ashley scoffs at Nikki praying for Jack (while, as usual, protecting Victor) Billy intercedes – she didn’t pull the trigger. Nikki leaves (not wanting to make things worse) A doctor comes out to update that Jack’s slipped into a coma. He’s not going to die, the Abbott’s try to remain positive.

Next: Neil comforts a crying Nikki – tell Paul exactly what you know …. Here’s where we first see Jack, Kevin’s showing Noah and Dylan footage on his laptop. Less than four minutes later, we see Jack going by again? Dylan’s puzzled… Pull the trigger, Marco instructs Marisa – because I’m never going to turn myself in.

My Thoughts: Victor only ‘heard about’ Jack wanting to meet Nikki at the park because she told him to go in her place – then told him to go meet Jack himself (since he was adamant she not go) … Dylan’s nobody’s knight in shining armour. Anyone can do damage by throwing a sucker punch. Joe’s hardly a sympathetic character, but that doesn’t make Dylan a good one. It just puts him a few entries higher on the ever growing ‘characters I dislike’ list. That’s twice within 24 hours that Joe’s been accosted by people he has restraining orders against. There’s no reason he shouldn’t call the cops and have Dylan arrested for assault, forcible confinement and violating the restraining order. Even if he gets arrested for attacking Avery, the footage of the pair of them entering, then exiting his hotel suite would be enough to cause reasonable doubt (and make Dylan and Avery look guilty of conspiring to frame him) It’ll be interesting to see what evidence the rape kit adds. Odd that Avery would tell Phyllis that there’s no physical evidence against Joe (it’s not the tests won’t provide that evidence) … Dylan’s just ‘helping the cops’ by conducting a ‘basic interrogation’? Perhaps he should join the force. Oh wait, his unstable mental health would make him ineligible.
