Jack calls Victor – meet me at Chancellor Park in 15 minutes. Will you have a gun? Come and find out. Victor will be there in 20. Jack then tries (but fails) to get Phyllis to stay home. You may know more than you realize, Jack asks her to think – did he slip – did he ever say the word Paragon? No. Phyllis recalls him talking about every day things. We barely talked – he was only interested in getting me into bed! Let’s just go get Victor, Phyllis shrugs it off.

Back at the cabin, Marco jokes – the world should be thanking us for getting rid of another would-be Hollywood hack. Yes, he’s got more – hear about the bride who got cold feet? In the morgue?? Flashback to Courtney at the station – this doesn’t make any sense. Harding, you gotta see this. Look who knocked out Abby – her Uncle Jack. Why would he do that? Beats me, Harding then convinces Courtney to ditch her wedding – let’s go catch this guy….. Marco praises Harding for making his job easier. Harding stands by as Marco checks Courtney’s pulse and hands over her gun and a poker. The police only know half the story, right Harding?

Paul agrees that Harding should be putting in extra hours to catch the killer. But why is Kevin confiding police business in his girlfriend. We’re friends! Roommates! Mariah doesn’t get it – why is Paul threatening to fire Kevin instead of looking into Harding. Go outside the lines or it may cost other’s their lives! Paul finally caves – Kevin will run the station while Paul investigates Harding.

Courtney wasn’t a loose end – she was a person, a cop. She had to die – like the four eyes guy. Tobias Gray – we almost got away with that one. Flashback to Harding and Paul telling Kevin that the DNA on the envelope matches Tobias. Kevin thinks it too convenient. Paul scoffs that an international drug lord came to GC to commit two murders…..

I’ve done a lot of things for you I regret, Harding doesn’t want anyone else hurt. But Marco pays him a boatload – there’s no backing out. Backing out of what? What’s the plan now? Harding gets a call – where the hell are you? Paul asks.

Billy finds Vikki working late in Daddy’s office. She can take a break for him ~kiss~ It’s hard to take things slow – but both want to do this the right way. Billy leaves a folder – Jack asked for it and I can’t find him. He needs it for tomorrow. Vikki agrees to give it to Jack when she sees him. See you tomorrow ~kiss~ At the door, Billy pauses a moment.

Victor joins Jack and Phyllis at the park. Both men open their jackets – no guns. What is this, High Noon? Phyllis says they need to find this psycho before becoming his next targets.

Harding reminds Paul that he put in for time off a few months ago. He’s exhausted. Paul wants him back running the department while he’s off. Harding claims he’s on his way back – he’ll be there in two hours. Paul hopes his brother isn’t too disappointed. He understands I have responsibilities, Harding looks at Marco.

Jack and Victor need to come together to find Marco. You found him in a Peruvian prison and unleashed him on us based on false suspicion. Does Phyllis at least get an apology for putting that criminal in her bed?

Billy returns to Victor’s office. See anything interesting? You just had to look in that folder for something to pass onto your Dad. You’ve been playing me all along. Why is Vikki holding the file? She spilled coffee on it. She told her Father no – I thought we were building something. Billy’s sorry – he misjudged the situation. No, you misjudged ME.

Vikki’s hurt. Billy blames Jack and Phyllis – he shot them down (as she did her Father) I’m an idiot, a moron, can’t we start over again? Vikki did – but won’t make that mistake again. Billy’s left to realize he’s an ass.

Paul warns Kevin and Mariah to leave it alone – he’ll handle it. But as soon as Paul leaves, Kevin gets on his laptop to look up Harding’s credit card charges. Who buys 22 frozen dinners for a camping trip!?

Chicken fried steak, Marco complains. Harding’s done when Marco says he’s done. He’s not going anywhere – he’s retaking Jack’s life – and Jack’s wife.

Victor regrets what Marco has done to Phyllis. That’s your apology? Victor had his reasons. Jack’s sure his family wasn’t after his – but you put us all in the line of fire.
