Nikki joins Victor in Sage’s room for air kisses – she’s so happy all is well. Victor thinks bed rest a small price to pay for another Newman. Sage gasps – but she’s not in pain; the baby just kicked. As Vikki joins Nick outside, Sage’s smile fades as her cloying in laws exit.

Back at CL’s, Collin balks at the idea of hitting on Ester (in your dreams) Sticking with her story, Ester flashes back to Collin telling her she’s all that and a bag of chips – give me a tickle (with her feather duster) Collin relays his version – he asked for a sandwich with a bag of chips, and a pickle. Who’s Jill to believe? Her ‘loving hubby’ or ‘partial wit’ over here?

Jill believes that Collin said something offensive or stupid, but he wasn’t hitting on Ester (who again flashes back to Collin being overtly lecherous) He tells his version of pillow fluffing. Ester can’t believe Jill’s believing Collin’s BS. You’re lonely, imagining things – Collin would never make a play for you. Maybe your ‘charms’ aren’t the same anymore, Ester taunts – she won’t stay in that house with Collin one more night – she won’t be subjected to this – either Collin goes of I do. Buh bye – don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, Jill snarks. Mrs C would be so ashamed of you, Ester marches out.

Chelsea returns – Connor can hear you. Adam is his Father and he’ll grow up knowing that, Adam says. He and Adam offer weak apologies. As the little family leaves, Billy has the last word Chelsea is Connor’s Mom – he’ll always love her, but who the hell are you? Don’t listen to him, Chelsea says. But he might be right, Adam says.

In the hallway, Nick declines Victor’s offer to move into the main house (with round the clock nurses to care for Sage) Bed rest can be exhausting, Vikki thinks that a good idea. Nikki asks Nick to let them know if he changes his mind. After his parents and Vikki leave, the DR joins Nick, Ben and Abby. This is just about bed rest right? Nick doesn’t need privacy – or is there something about the baby you didn’t want to say in front of Sage???

The DR basically thinks that Sage’s nervousness is causing her pain. She worries all the time, Nick knows – she has psychological problems? No, but the DR hands over the number for a therapist Sage can talk to. See you at our next exam. If Sage worries too much she can can lose the baby? Nick asks Ben (who thinks it psychosomatic – or maybe there’s a medical reason – can’t hurt to double check) Nick rejoins Sage (who wants to know what the doctor said behind her back)

At the club’s bar, Billy hands his drink to Vikki (who relays Sage’s scare) He knows how badly she wants kids. Vikki hopes things work out for Sage – thinking bad things invites the worst to happen. The subject of Victor of course comes up – he loves his grandchildren. Surprisingly Billy won’t say anything bad about Victor tonight.

In their suite, Chelsea asks Adam what he meant (that Billy’s right) Well, I’m not your husband, I have no real connection to Connor. I want to be his Father, Adam Newman. It’s not enough to be some guy Chelsea hangs out with – I want to be your husband. Is that a proposal? Chelsea chuckles.

As Jill’s deciding to hire a new maid tomorrow, Ester’s back at the house blubbering aloud to the framed sketch of Mrs C – it’s time for her to leave. She’s saved money for a rainy day. Wish me luck. I’m going to make you proud of me – you’ll see. I love you Mrs C – Ester wheels her luggage out.
