Catching Summer marching out of Phyllis’ suite, Billy asks her what’s wrong. As if you don’t know! she marches past him, Phyllis updates Billy that she had to tell Summer (to stop her from going to Victor) What will she do? Phyllis hopes Summer won’t expose her, but she’s furious. Billy now understands why Phyllis hates Victor; no, Jack didn’t tell him. Luca used the info to worm his way into the deal with Natalie. Billy’s main concern is Phyllis – are you alright? We have to go to the police with everything, he insists.
So I just waltz into the GPPD and tell them my husband was replaced by a doppelganger?! They’ll ask how I could live and sleep with him for months. Billy’s so sorry – but you know who isn’t sorry? Victor. It’s not going away – it’ll gnaw at you until it ruins everything between you and Jack. We’re fine, Phyllis snaps. Really? Then why are you here? Billy lists the people who already know – take control of this! Phyllis wonders what will happen between Billy and Vikki. Are you prepared to lose her over this?
Victor realized people started knowing what was going on in his office after Natalie installed her computer there. Natalie logs onto her laptop to show Victor a view of his empty office. I’ll be damned – you’re a clever girl. As Victor’s guy comes in to take her laptop, a protesting Natalie’s fired. But once the door’s closed, she smiles smugly.
At the revolving door, Jack asks a distracted Chelsea if she wants to talk – it’s Adam isn’t it, he guesses. We’re finally able to be together and I’m still losing him, Chelsea tears up as Jack hugs her.
Now at the club’s bar, Chelsea tells Jack that Adam’s been completely honest – no more secrets Victor can hold over his head. But Adam still refuses to walk away. From his Father or the company. He claims it’s for a good cause – to replace Victor and turn the company into a good legacy. But Victor won’t go down without a fight – and he’ll take Adam down with him. Looking wistful, Jack says that when you love someone, you have to hope the love you have for them is enough to bring out the best.
Having summoned Adam to the office, Victor suspects Luca didn’t get on that plane. No – that’s not all. Victor reminds Adam what’s at stake – what he’ll tell Chelsea. That I Fathered Sage’s baby? I already told her.
Luca doesn’t understand why Natalie’s laughing. She’s free to develop her program for Billy and Phyllis (and now you I guess) Sure Victor took the laptop, but that was the flawed program. The real program is on a flashdrive I gave Billy. But wait – there’s one problem, Luca says. Summer barges in – you traitor – you won’t get away with this!!!
When Billy arrives, the wedding planner leaves Vikki to ask where Billy was. Something came up to do with Jack and Phyllis – and your Father. You need to hear this. The accusations aren’t unfounded. Handed the CD, Vikki knows her Father makes mistakes; mistakes for love. Oh, it was love that made Victor kidnap Jack and replace him with a lookalike? Billy scoffs.
Vikki’s looking at the CD on a laptop – Marco Annacelli? How is this even possible? Victor used Marco to replace Jack (who was held prisoner) Documents and photos can be altered, Vikki’s in denial. Jack and Phyllis swear this happened, Billy adds. This is enough evidence to put my Father in prison. Yes, but Billy won’t go to the police – because he loves Vikki. Nothing means more to him – even justice.
Adam gloats – I told Chelsea everything – she forgave me. You’re out of ammunition – you’ll have to fix this Luca mess yourself. My life is my own. But – Victor knows what Adam really wants – this chair – you won’t get it, or pass it off to your son unless you do exactly what I want!
She’s working with Billy to screw over my Grandfather! Summer rants – then is pissed to hear that Luca’s in on it too. Why aren’t you tattling to Victor right now? Natalie taunts. Summer can’t rat on her Mom. Natalie tells Summer that it’s OK – Victor fired her. Oh good – you’re no longer on the Newman payroll, Summer yanks open the door – get out!!!!
