Phyllis calls Victor a loser – your whole family wants nothing to do with you. Victor tells Phyllis that she has skeletons in her closet. Yes she’s free (and he will be too)

Nikki greets Elise warmly; she has faith everything will turn out the way it should. Elise agrees – she too has faith that everything will turn out exactly the way it’s supposed to. Exiting, she passes Jack and Phyllis (who’s worried strings are being pulled when seeing the Judge leave the Newman’s table)

Sage hopes she didn’t bully Shawn into ordering a salad. It’s OK – you didn’t say anything wrong; Shawn’s a bit touchy. Sage just wants what’s best for her and the baby. That little boy insdie you means so much to me, you have no idea.

Ben gripes to Dylan – things sure won’t get easier with a baby on the way. He mentions his Dad abandoning the family. Dylan’s reassuring – you handled yourself well today and let Max know he’s loved. He’s lucky to have you. Yes, it’ll take work, but you’ll succeed – cause that’s who you are.

Still in the exam room, Abby worries to Mike – now that there’s a file on Ben and Max can social services step in every time Max doesn’t get his own way? If he keeps this up he might ruin things for our family.

At the bar, Phyllis realizes why Victor was smug – he’s got Moxley in his pocket. He has something in them. An alert goes off on his phone. At their table, the Newman’s gather around Vikki’s tablet. Judge Moxley has called a press conference. She’s making an announcement regarding Victor Newman’s trial. Victor’s also watching in his office. Elise has an ethical obligation to come forward – she must recuse herself from his case.

Next: I am warning you son; sure seems like the old Hilary to me … Jack catches Phyllis and Billy chatting at the bar – apparently, a lot has been going on behind my back … Summeer ahs news for Victor and Vikki – Natalie was in touch with Billy behind our backs.

My Thoughts: Why couldn’t the social worker find a judge to sign off on Max being allowed to go home? And as there’s clearly no wrongdoing, why wasn’t Ben allowed to give his son a hug? It’s not there wasn’t supervision. Mike needs to tell Abby that once the investigation is closed social services should be gone for good (unless they want to check in on them periodically) If Max keeps making false claims, he’ll just be the little boy who cried wolf (and we all know how that ended for that kid) … Whoa Jack. You can’t order Phyllis to stay and listen to you and you can’t physically restrain her either. Your heavy handed approach could easily be considered abusive …. Judge Moxley didn’t mention how many times the Newmans have blackmailed her (though that would have got her in just as much trouble as them – and her past rulings would all have to be reviewed, maybe overturned) Odd that there’s all this talk of the Newman’s pulling strings in court, yet Vikki lost custody of her soon Reed… Huh Sage? Your new son’s favourite place will be the ranch? Where Victor lives? Weren’t you terrified that Victor would take your first baby? And if you don’t want Shawn to change her mind, you might not want to ‘sell the ranch’ while Grandpa’s facing a long list of criminal charges – and the whole family’s in upheaval
