When Billy arrives at Top of the Tower, Phyllis is sorry Vikki got to him before she could tell him that Summer blabbed. She won’t let Billy lose Vikki. I’ll fix this, she hurries out. Where’s she off to? Jack wonders. To save my life, Billy says. At a nearby table, Mike hates what Victor did to Phyllis – but what she’s asking … Lauren poses a question; what if Victor put another man into our bed? I’d kill him, Mike says. Then, there’s your answer.

Paul asks about Victor threatening Phyllis; violating the terms of your bail. No one got hurt, Neil referees. After Victor’s lead out, Nikki wonders why the hell Neil was defending her husband??

Sully off to the park with the sitter, Sharon chats with Nick (who has a lot to complain about) As a survivor, Sharon’s advice is to not listen to them. Hear them out, but follow your own heart. As they clasp hands across the table, Chelsea and Sage enter the patio.

Phyllis finds Vikki at the club’s bar – I need to talk to you. I need YOU to stop destroying everything you touch, Vikki replies.

Billy wanted to save Jabot. Jack knows there’s more to it, and is sure Vikki does too. Beating Victor is the big picture; not your family. He always gets up; he always fires back, Jack warns. He could sue us for corporate espionage. This will cost you what really matters.

Your Father is at the root of all this. Yes, Phyllis thinks Vikki should be mad at him. Vikki is – she understands the need for revenge too – but why drag Billy down with you? Phyllis takes full blame – don’t blame Billy. HE’S the one who CHOSE to lie to me. Yes, he lied, but he hated every second of it. Vikki was an idiot to think Billy could change. No, you’re an idiot if you let go of a guy who loves you as much as Billy does.

Victor is indeed talking to a lawyer about suing the Abbott’s for corporate espionage. His actions today were justified. The lawyer wants to consider a deal for a reduced sentence; the evidence is overwhelming. I’m not a magician. Victor simply protected his family and company. The courts won’t agree, the lawyer warns. You’re fired, Victor replies.

Nick was just filling me in on Victor, Sharon explains. Chelsea pulls Sharon inside – Nick and Sage need to talk. Dylan joins them to update that Victor’s bail’s been revoked. Don’t tell Nick, Sharon agrees with Chelsea this time – he has a lot on his plate and Sage isn’t helping any.

On the patio, Nick tells Sage that he’s abstaining from the vote. No, Sage isn’t OK – she doesn’t feel Nick’s committed to the adoption. He shouldn’t have run off so abruptly (on her and Shawn) You’re looking for ways to sabotage this adoption.

Nikki can’t believe Neil defended Victor; Jack’s your friend. Yes, but Neil needs to atone for horrible things he’s done. He tells Nikki about his and Jack’s project. Their job is to help people on a downward spiral. Victor needs help. Nikki then tells Neil that the plan is to oust Victor from the company. He’ll have nothing to lose, Neil opines.

Well I’ll be damned, Victor’s surprised when Mike enters the room. He’s a damn good defence attorney who wants to help. Victor looks sceptical.

Who are you to judge Sage? Chelsea asks. Sharon’s Nick’s ex-wife for one and the Mother of his children. I know him better than anyone else so am entitled to an opinion. Chelsea thinks his current wife’s opinion is more important. Dylan suggests they all stay out of Nick’s marriage. Sharon does NOT look pleased.
