Nick’s sorry to hear that Connor had another ear infection – just like the night….. (oops – he didn’t mean to bring up the worst night of Chelsea’s life)
Sharon’s surprised to come home to find Paul with Mariah. It’s nice of him to stay – but the stalker might just be in her imagination. Paul thinks she might be afraid of this (a photo on his phone of Patty’s painting of a pregnant Sharon at Fairview) Since Mariah had no idea why Patty would paint that, perhaps Sharon does.
Sharon and Mariah are relieved to hear that Patty’s been found. Paul knows that’s why Sharon asked him to meet her at the park. He’s not upset but again states that Patty doesn’t have access to a phone and asks why Patty would paint Sharon. The Chief decides to crash on the couch. If anything happens to jar Sharon’s memory he assumes she’ll let him know.
Hand on Kevin’s knee, Chloe wants someone with her who gets her – who can share happy and sad moments. His connection to Delia doesn’t upset her. I trust you to take care of me. That’s all Kevin needed to hear ~kiss~
Chelsea tells Nick that the guard knows Adam wasn’t responsible for attacking him. If only he got better in time to testify. Nick thanks her for stopping by – give Connor a hug for me. Get well – I need you around, she says in parting.
Billy will never be able to live down his affair with Phyllis – Jack looks right through me. But if he had to do it all over again … Billy’d probably make the same mistake. But Jack still needs to know if Phyllis is up to something. You need to stay away from her, Ashley reiterates.
Jack will take his employee’s input when he needs it. Images of Phyllis with Billy will never fade. She has memories too – of what she and Jack had. Smelling dinner, Phyllis fishes for an invitation that doesn’t come. As Jack holds the door open, Phyllis’ last comment is that people make a home, not the things inside it
