Sharon admits that she knew just before Sage died. Half of Sully’s life!? Dylan’s floored. Sharon blames the drugs in her system – she needed to know so did a DNA test. Sage put it together and confronted her. She went to tell Nick. Sage died knowing her son was living in this house and you never said a word! Dylan shouts. When Mariah comes home, he’s further hurt to know that she lied to him too. Sharon lied FOR you – to keep this family together, Mariah chokes up. Sharon loves you and Sully more than you’ll ever know, Mariah leaves in tears. Don’t blame Mariah, Sharon did it for Dylan. She couldn’t break his heart.
Nick now realizes why Sharon didn’t want him near Sully. I shouldn’t be dumping this on you. Chelsea knows Dylan was lied to – the way she did. And I wasn’t drugged – I knew what I was doing. Yeah, and he took off with Connor, Nick worries – what if he takes off with my son?!
You’re the only Father Sully’s known – he’s never been deprived of love, Sharon reasons. You deprived Nick, Dylan points out. Sharon blames Dr A – but admits she’s horrible for letting it continue. Nick had other kids – Sully had two parents who love him. Sharon hated watching Nick suffer but couldn’t watch Dylan suffer either. Or Sully – Sharon protected his little heart. Dylan agrees – Sully’s innocent – but his life was built on lies. With that, he heads upstairs.
Bumping into Paul at CL’s, a nervous Mariah apologizes again for going to visit Patty. Paul just went to see her – she told me about a secret Dr Anderson wanted her to keep – and that Dylan would need me. Paul doesn’t know what that means but suspects Mariah does.
Back at Underground, Kevin ignores his phone and hints about ‘it’ happening again – maybe at ‘our’ place. Are you asking me to move in with you? Chloe’s surprised.
Nick worries Dylan will run off with his son. Chelsea doesn’t think so – he’s in a better place now – got therapy for his PTSD – Dylan will do the right thing, she’s sure (even though his heart will be broken)
Sully in his arms, Dylan talks about what a great Halloween they had – you weren’t scared of anything. It’s my job to protect you (as Sharon peeks in)
What hasn’t Sharon called? Nick’s waited a year – he won’t wait any longer!
As Dylan lists all he planned to teach Sully, Sharon ignores a call from Nick.
Sharon’s not taking my calls, Nick worries she’s convincing Dylan to take the baby and run. I can’t risk it, he runs out.
Sharon again tells Dylan that they’re the only parents Sully knows – we have to fight. This is his crib, his room, his home. Just go, Dylan dismisses Sharon. He sits in the rocker to weep quietly (Sully still in his arms)
Kevin thinks it’d be great if Chloe and Bella moved in with him – and give Chelsea her space back. Chloe pictures a future together – Kevin’s the one – but she doesn’t want to rush the journey they’re on. Kevin thinks that the best rejection he’s ever had. Giving him a kiss, Chloe leaves him to get a text from Mariah.
