Scott needs to know that his loyal friend/driver Ahmed is safe. We need to get him and his family out of danger. Victor’s on it but hasn’t heard anything yet. If you go back, you’re on your own, he warns. Assured that Victor will keep him updated, Scott leaves.

After Mike excuses himself to take a call, Lauren whines to Paul; fearing Scott won’t stay put long in GC. Understanding, Paul offers a hug.

No alarms, no gunfire – a real bed; Scott’s not used to this. At CL’s, he updates Kevin that Victor’s looking into Ahmed’s whereabouts. I need to go back. You’re home, Kevin states the obvious. Scott’s not sure GC will ever feel like home.

Still in his office, Victor’s on the phone – I need to know Ahmed’s alive – then we proceed. Nick then drops by to ask how Faith’s doing and is happy to hear she’s out with Sharon. Approving of Nick’s relationship with Chelsea, Victor assumes he’d like him to bring Faith around. No, Nick doesn’t want Victor to interfere – at all.

At the penthouse, Chloe catches Chelsea fantasizing about Nick. It happened!! Tell me everything! I can see it all over your face! Is it everything you thought it would be? Chloe asks. Better, Chloe finally caves – then grows silent. What happened? Chloe can tell something’s wrong.

Nick doesn’t want Victor to press the issue with Faith – he doesn’t want to spook her or Chelsea. Yes, things are going well. When Victor talks about his ‘ready made family’ of two boys, Nick slows him down. Whoa – we’re taking it one day at a time. Whatever you say son, Victor smirks.

Chloe hopes Chelsea doesn’t feel like she’s betraying Adam; he’s gone. Why, after mind blowing sex, would you think things can go bad? Enjoy – embrace it – this was meant to be.

Sharon’s good at being a boss – and a Mom. And a wife too – Dylan shouldn’t have left, Faith opines. Sharon’s her own person now; I even signed up for some classes at GCU. No, she’s not too old to learn.

Kevin suggests Scott write his story (don’t forget to mention how ruggedly handsome I am) When Sharon comes over, she’s stunned when Kevin introduces Scott (whom she hasn’t seen in many years) As Sharon and Kevin go off to talk privately, Scott looks restless and checks his phone.

After ending his call, Mike raves about his brother being the one to bring Scott home. He’s changed, Paul claims he’s a big asset at the station. Lauren’s also grateful to Victor – and wonders if Scott realizes how relieved they all are that he’s safe. Now he wants to go back there. He needs to decompress, Mike’s sure Scott won’t squander his second chance.

Sharon wonders if Kevin’s heard from Dylan. No, that’s how witness protection works. One slip up … wouldn’t be good. Sharon realizes she’ll have to be satisfied that Dylan’s safe. When Kevin rejoins Scotty, he’s updated that he’s been fired (if word gets out that ransom was paid for him journalists will be snatched off the streets) But this job, it’s in my blood, Scott sighs.

Nick arrives to chat with Sharon and Faith (who wants to be like her Mom when she grows up; a whole person who doesn’t need anyone else to make her happy) Nick and Sharon both smile proudly.
