Devon implores Dina to hear him out – he and his Father are starting something new. He didn’t deserve his inheritance but wants to earn it. He then explains that Kay was his grandmother. He wants to make her proud. Dina’s interested – tell me more.

Gloria wants to be the kind of friend who tells Jack the painful truth – you never really got over your Mother abandoning you. That’s probably why you go through women without getting attached. Jack already had a shrink session with Ashley. Dina will be all over the news and Gloria knows Jack will be reading every word. Jack agrees that he’ll always carry the scars.

Ashley has no idea why Dina’s selling – call her, one mogul to another. Victor chuckles – you really don’t want to talk about her.

Cane goes in to tell Vikki that he’s here for her; whatever she needs. Good, she appreciates having a colleague she can trust.

Billy finds Phyllis ‘hiding’ in Ravi’s office. I wasn’t easy but it’s done, he updates. Phyllis is sorry she was so harsh with Vikki, sorry she summoned Billy to the elevator. We can be together for real, Billy gives her a hug (as Phyllis looks worried over his shoulder)

Next: Why don’t I know my only living grandparent? Abby asks Ashley … Cane makes an assumption to Vikki; I guess Billy’s a good Dad? That’s why you let him keep working here? … Billy and Phyllis join Gloria and Jack (in his office) There’s something Phyllis and I would like to tell you. We want you to hear it from us.

My Thoughts: Nothing young or restless about today’s show folks. Very old, very tiresome …. So Jabot, Brash n Sassy, Newman etc. – all change hands multiple times and nobody (the public or shareholders) pays any attention – but Dina Mergeron putting her company up for sale will be ‘all over the news’ 24/7? Who cares? I’ll just add this to the list of storylines I’m not interested in …. Kay would probably NOT be proud of the way Devon threw her name out to pique Dina’s interest… If Devon’s barely touched his inheritance, where has he been coming up with all his money to buy a private jet, his condo building (not just the condo), the GCAC, a TV station and the sports car he crashed? I guess he’s got a good financial planner … Yeah, great that Vikki can trust Cane – but it’s pretty hypocritical of him to bust Billy for cheating when he’s a cheater himself. And why hasn’t Vikki figured out that Cane orchestrated her walking into Billy and Phyllis making out?
