Hilary signals for a close up to confide in her audience – Mariah thinks she’s on the road to romance but is stuck in the friend zone.
Flying back to GC, Devon doesn’t think Dina will give them the deal. Neil will remain optimistic until they get a ‘no’.
Cane’s having a drink at the GCAC bar when Jack marches over to order Scotch, neat – my brother and ex-wife are reuniting, he announces. Cane heard – he and Jill thought Billy and Vikki were getting closer too. Boy, he’d love to wipe the smug smirk off Billy’s face (over the hockey deal) He got that deal by playing dirty, Jack confides. He’s sure BnS won’t succeed as long as Billy’s onboard.
Dina ends a call with Massimo (who’s offer she’ll take into consideration) Looking at a photo of Ravi and Ashley online, Dina flashes back to their last argument. She knows how much Ashley must hate her but remember – people make mistakes. But if she wasn’t involved with Brent, Ashley wouldn’t be conceived. Dina won’t apologize for her existence.
Ravi’s meditation isn’t exactly working on Ashley. The goal is to escape mind and body but there are some things you just can’t escape, she sighs.
In the BnS lab, Phyllis suggests she and Billy go celebrate their relationship being out and official. Let’s go to the club. Is Billy really happy? I am, he assures. As they leave, both turn back to look at Vikki (who’s NOT happy as she watches them leave together)
At the bar, Cane has to admit that Billy’s doing a good job with the hockey thing. Jack’s sure he’ll will screw up sooner or later – Cane would be doing Vikki and the company a favour by making it sooner rather than later. They clink glasses.
