Mike quietly coaches Lily to keep her answers to a yes or no. No, Lily admits the Leslie that she never heard Juliet lie. Yes, Cane told her about the Tokyo deal. No, he didn’t mention that he almost tanked the deal with a bro-hug or that Juliet saved the deal. He never mentioned it? Leslie sums up what Cane didn’t tell his wife – so, who’s the liar here? On the sidelines, Team BnS looks bleak.

The doctor gone, Nikki tells Tessa that she’s feeling much better. She didn’t want an ambulance because it would end up on GC Buzz and be bad PR for the benefit. Worried, Tessa thinks Nikki shouldn’t perform – let someone else fill in. Nikki refuses and swears Tessa to secrecy – never tell Victor about this flare up – got it?!

Abby doesn’t need Scott’s help – I’m on top of it. No, she’s not jealous of him. But hearing that Victor wants to make Scott his protege and then an executive, Abby balks – this is a family company.

Mike lists Juliet’s expenses – car lease, student debt, credit cards. You were given a generous severance package. After Leslie interjects, Mike moves on to establish that Cane made it clear that he couldn’t personally hire Juliet. No, but he made it clear what he wanted in exchange for a recommendation. Cane flashes back to drinking shots in Tokyo. All give him the eye when Juliet says they had sex.

Abby vehemently opposes Scott Grainger being considered for ‘the big chair’. He doesn’t care about this company – I’ve proven myself over and over again – why does Victor make her jump through hoops? You expect more because I’m part Abbott. Victor does trust Abby, but he doesn’t trust Jack. He’ll insinuate himself. No, he’s focussing on spending time with Dina. Having to leave, Abby gives her Dad a kiss and vows to prove herself.

Zack escapes Sharon’s questions when he excuses himself to take a call – we need to speed things up, he says with ungency. Abby arrives to wonder why he wasn’t expecting her – she reads from the app; 4pm, coffee date – latte and a croissant for Abby, blah blah for Zack. Noticing Sharon watching, Zack takes Abby to the patio to work.

Juliet thinks she and Cane drank til about 2 am. She helped him to his room and then to bed. Yes, she was being a good friend. He grabbed me and pulled him onto the bed, thanked me for helping with Mr Sato. Yes, Juliet tried to leave but Cane said if she wanted a job at BnS, she should stay. I did it – I’ve never been so ashamed, she admits. Cane squirms.

As Tessa oveersees Nikki once again trying to practice piano, Victor arrives to unveil the poster. You look hot, Tessa praises. Nikki’s humble – crediting the touch ups, hair and make up. All the tickets are sold, Victor’s pleased to announce – and now he’d like to hear Nikki play. Tessa excusing herself to take a call, Nikki caves on – OK, just a few notes, that’s it – her hands tremble above the keys.

Scott comes to CL’s to notices something’s on Sharon’s mind. She thinks there’s something shady about Abby’s new business partner.

On the patio, Zack knows that Abby’s more champagne and caviar than donuts and coffee. Any girl would be delighted to be here on a date with you, she basically giggles. Because they work together, she won’t go on a real date. But yes, she’s down for a third ‘test date’.
