Phyllis puts dessert aside – who needs chocolate? she and Billy continue their verbal foreplay. Noting that she’s hotter than usual tonight, Billy wonders if something’s going on. Yes, there is, Phyllis replies.
Paul tells Scott and Sharon that cameras picked up Alice leaving the hospital. She seemed terrified and in rough shape physically. How far could she have gotten? Sharon wonders. Scott concludes with frustration that the only person who could give them insight into the sex ring is gone. No, Paul has a new lead.
At Underground, Zack pours Abby a glass of wine and invites her to unburden herself. Abby explains that her Mom’s award dinner turned ugly; a massive showdown of ancient family history that even she wasn’t aware of. She and her Mom both left ‘broken’. Appreciating Zack’s supportive words, Abby doesn’t notice him looking across the bar as Natalia chats with an older gentleman.
Ester lets Lily in and excuses herself to the kitchen so she can tell Cane (whose phone died) that she has an emergency; can he stay in the house with the kids while she’s in Dallas? When Cane hesitates, Lily wonders why he’s not jumping at the chance.
Phyllis is about to take Billy home to have him all to herself when Vikki rushes into Top of the Tower to update Billy that Hilary wants her on the show tomorrow. Pissed, Phyllis leaves them to talk (and call Jack to update that they need to get their men’s products on Fenmore’s shelves immediately) Take care of it, Jack gives her the go ahead. Consider it done, Phyllis hangs up.
Billy again cautions Vikki to put the brakes on; we’re not ready to promote the new men’s products (but finally relents) He’s then alarmed to notice her bruises and hear that Vikki was in a ‘fender bender’. Vikki leaves when Phyllis reappears to take her guy home.
County Connect is the LLC who rented the house Alice was staying in, Paul isn’t too optimistic though – it’ll take time to wade through a string of shell corporations. Scott promises not to reveal anything confidential in his web series or put himself in danger. After Paul leaves, he tells Sharon that he has an advantage the police don’t have.
Having put Abby in a better mood, Zack goes to order food but instead accosts Natalia – what are you doing here? Hearing that Leon’s the boss now, Zack tells Natalia to get her date out of here and leaves a message for Leon – I need to talk to you. As Abby looks over, Zack’s at the bar looking at a menu.
As Lily puzzles over why Cane’s not jumping at the chance to spend a few days with the kids, Juliet comes down in a robe raving about how great it is living here. You’re living together? Lily’s obviously not impressed.
Cane explains to Llly that he didn’t want Juliet staying at the club while having problems with her pregnancy. Lily really hopes everything is OK – Cane’s free to live his life as he pleases. When Juliet chimes in to say that nothing’s going on, Lily points out that he’d rather stay here than with his kids (which Cane will do – Juliet can call him if there’s a problem) After Juliet goes up to unpack, Lily doesn’t want to hear what Cane has to say.
