Nick and Chelsea will now have an epic contest to see which ornaments go on the tree (by drawing cards) Taking turns, Nick plucks one from Chelsea’s box to mock it. Uh… that’s not new – Adam bought me that one, Chelsea’s solemn. Nick will put it on the tree (but retrieves one of his rejected ornaments) And now it’s time to kiss.

Ashley lectures Victor for repaying Abby’s loyalty by favouring Vikki. Don’t waste your breath ‘fixing’ this. Ashley will be happy to have Abby at Jabot. At the elevator, Nikki tells Ashley that she’s sorry about Dina’s diagnosis. Jack has a daunting task. Ashley agrees – she’s fine and has decided but had realized that life is too short; she won’t miss out on anything.

Lily pauses briefly before joining Cane at GCM – she wants to be there for him and Sam. Cane sadly informs that he already saw the specialist; his 4 lb son needs surgery on his heart.

Now back behind her desk, Ashley’s pleased when Ravi brings her his report on what Jack’s been keeping from her. Realizing she’s being rude, Ashley gets up to say what a nice distraction last night was.

Kerry thanks Scott for coming in to be interviewed. Linking to his article has brought in lots of hits to their site. Scott makes it clear that he didn’t expose this prostitution ring alone.

At CL’s, Nick gives Abby a high five when hearing she quit NE. He and Chelsea are also having a tree lighting party tonight. Theirs will be much more casual than Victors’. Getting a text, Abby gives Nick a quick kiss and leaves.

It was Abby’s decision, Vikki explains that she didn’t fire her. She didn’t tell Victor because she knew Abby would come crying to her Dad sooner or later. Are you jealous of Abby? Victor asks. Send her in, Victor says when his receptionist buzzes in. What are you doing? Vikki looks nervous as Victor scowls at her.

How am I supposed to wrap my head around this? Cane’s reading some information online on Sam’s condition. Let me read it to you, Lily takes the tablet. When a nurse comes in with paperwork before Cane donates blood, she assumes that Lily’s the Mother. No, but Lily volunteers to donate blood to other patients; she’s been clear of cancer for years. You don’t have to do this, Cane says. I want to, Lily begins filling out paperwork.
