While setting the table, Faith wonders why Scott’s going to all this trouble. Surprise! he and Mariah call out when Sharon walks in. How sweet! Sharon’s suitably impressed. As the trio files into the kitchen to see what Scott’s cooked, Faith lingers to roll her eyes and fume.

Ashley now home, Jack points out that Newman and Chancellor have posted great sales this quarter while Jabot lags behind. We’ve lost the momentum since he acquired Fenmore’s. I created the JabotGo app, Ashley reminds. Jack’s not satisfied that Jabot’s on ‘solid ground’. You want your picture in the paper? Ashley mocks her brother’s ‘fragile ego’. Jack won’t let Dad’s legacy whither and die. We need to make Jabot #1.

At the GCAC, Kevin makes a panicked call. It’s me. It’s starting to unravel. No, I can’t ‘stop it’. It won’t be long before the truth comes out and Victor finds out what you did.

Vikki returns to her Dad’s office to see if he’s ready to go home. Send him in, Victor says into the intercom. Rushing in, Mike’s glad he caught them. The authorities are sending an official over to discuss the audit anomalies. Tell them to set an appointment, Victor replies. We can’t – they’re treating this as an emergency, Mike informs. Victor doesn’t care – make an appointment, he repeats. It’s a power play, Vikki’s as unconcerned as her Father. Hearing that her attendance is also mandatory at tonight’s meeting, Vikki’s surprised – what does this have to do with me??

Scott puts Sharon’s feet up – she’s to relax while he cleans. The dishes can wait – Sharon wants to chat. Remember the night you were trapped in the locker with Abby? Remember our conversation? I said more than ‘be safe’. Scott, I love you, Sharon confesses. I love you too, Scott obediently replies before giving Sharon a kiss. Poking her head in to watch, Faith is clearly not sharin’ the love.

Jack won’t take back what he said. And Ashley won’t be accused of destroying the company. Jack isn’t – but we can’t let things slide. We must preserve our legacy for our kids; as John did for us. Ashley says they must work together for many years to come. We don’t know how much time we have. Yes, and that’s why Jack must leave his mark; now.

Still at NE, Vikki declares this pop-in meeting nothing more than a scare tactic; we must present a united front but tread carefully. Victor’s leaving in 4 minutes. On cue, the phone buzzes. Send him in, Victor orders. JT walks in; hello Victor, hi Victoria (who’s stunned by the surprise arrival of her ex)

Next: I have enough money for both of us – you could quit, today, Billy tells Phyllis …. Nick listens as Hilary reads the online news out loud – The City Council just announced the winning bid for the park’s redevelopment …. Scott Grainger!? Lily’s stunned – and chokes on her coffee when Abby announces – ‘we had sex’.

My Thoughts: Does Scott really think he can keep playing footsy (and more) with Abby without anyone catching them? It’s hard to feel sympathy for Sharon, given her history – but she doesn’t deserve to be made a fool of, no one does. Hopefully, her psych classes keep her from going psycho when she learns the truth. It’s also hard to root for Abby; this isn’t the first time she’s cheated with another woman’s man; she was sleeping with Austin when he was married to her niece, Summer … If Jack’s going to work from home, he could at least do so from his home office. Surely the Abbott mansion has at least one. If it wasn’t Dina wandering into the room, it could have been someone coming to ring the doorbell. There’s no reason Jack can’t hire someone to help Mrs Martinez keep Dina distracted… Does Vikki have to stop by her Daddy’s office to see if he’s ready to go home every evening? They don’t live on the same property so they don’t carpool … Today’s mystery – who was Kevin talking to? Has he managed to double cross Victor? And when did he grow the balls to do so? … Quick refresher on JT Hellstrom. This could get interesting. He’s Vikki’s ex (both on the show and off – he and Amelia Heinle divorced just this year) JT was a musician and private investigator who was once employed by Victor as head of security – he then spied on NE for Tucker McCall. JT moved to Washington DC with his wife Mac (surrogate Mom who gave birth to the Ashby twins) and Reed (who left after the family moved to Europe)
