Mariah eavesdrops at Hilary’s on the phone with a potential buyer. She’s still fielding offers. You’re selling the show? Why? Mariah wonders. What about our jobs? Hilary’s securing finances for her and the baby she plans to have. Her baby will not grow up poor.

Cane’s summoned JT to give him an assignment – work on a security patch. JT was hoping to utilize his executive experience and European contacts. Did you just hire me because you feel sorry for me? Cane can tell that something’s wrong – what is it? It’s Vikki. JT admits.

Noah drops by Vikki’s with her favorite coffee – he needs an objective female perspective.

I said I didn’t want to be disturbed, Jack growls from his desk. Your wx wife’s a pushy broad, Glo yells back as Phyllis marches in to give Jack a pep talk. Jack rants about Ashley but admits she’s more like John. Who would John want as CEO? Phyllis asks point blank. Me, Jack’s certain. I am Jabot’s CEO.

At Top of The Tower, JT whines about how work-minded Vikki is. He was so frustrated at being ignored this morning he wanted to slam that laptop. He slammed the door instead (then felt like an idiot) Cane advises JT to face any problems head on – they won’t go away. Start now – take the day off. JT’s thrilled.

Noah ends his story with Mariah’s threats to sue Devon and Tessa. He can’t figure out what’s going on. Tessa was hard to live with when she had writer’s block. Then this song came. Vikki suggests Noah talk to Mariah’ she is your sister after all. As for her and JT, they’re figuring who they are now, not who they were back then.

In the respective offices, Jack and Ashley are both pacing and calling their attorney’s, Jack lashes out at Gloria. Both look to the heavens for a one-sided chat with their Father.

Tony enters Ashley’s office…. Mike arrives at Jack’s. Neither looks particularly happy.

Dropping by the Ashby’s abode, Lily’s in a dither – Sam’s very fussy. May I? Hilary has no trouble calming the infant down.

Mike has news for Jack: The arbitrator ruled against Ashley. It’s over.

I can’t apologize enough, Tony delivers the bad news to Ashley (who thanks him for putting up a good fight)

Something else needs to be done – go see Ashley, Mike encourages Jack. Remind her that family comes first and she has a brother who’d lay down his life for her.

Phyllis and Gloria bring champagne to the party – hip hip hip hooray… As Tony opens the door, he and Ashley hear the victory party.
