Phyllis knows Hilary will have it all – but let nature do its thing. After Hilary leaves, Phyllis and Billy convince themselves that them having a baby would be a terrible idea.

Ashley drops by Victor’s office. He’s working on the budget ‘to see if we can afford you’. And? Turns out we can.

On his way out, Devon reassures Tessa that she still has a job. Noah was more a problem today than her. Tessa declines walking out with Devon – she’ll lock up. Thanks, you’re the best. Now alone, Tessa pulls out a sleeping bag and makes her bed on the sofa.

Lily comes home to apologize for being short with Cane on the phone. Vikki’s been working her ragged. It’ll probably be the same tomorrow. Good night, she brushes Cane with a kiss and breezes off to bed. Goodnight, Cane mutters to himself.

Ashley lays out conditions; she wants autonomy, a seat on the board, funds that only she has say over. Victor agrees and hopes she likes her new title: Chief Innovation Officer. She does but we’d have to agree on what authority that means; the divisions she’d oversee (including BnS) And how does Vikki fit into this? Victor will deal with Vikki in a manner that pleases Ashley. Do we have a deal?

Chelsea comes home with burritos. When Nick doesn’t come down, she finds him in the bathroom. The job’s more complicated than I thought. He steps aside to show Chelsea stacks of cash he’s pulled out of the wall.

My Thoughts: Cane needs to chill out and remember that the kid he’s shoving down everyone’s throat is a product of an affair. And it’s selfish for him to expect Mattie to put aside her homework to reassure her needy and insecure Father. Surely he has some work to do too. Or has bringing an infant home had no impact on his schedule? … Take it easy Tessa; there’s only room for one Most Fabulous Office Assistant Ever – and that tiara obviously belongs on the well-couifed hair-helmet of Gloria…. Didn’t Devon just say that Tessa would have to earn his trust again? Why is he leaving a person he doesn’t trust, a known thief no less alone in his office? … It’s ridiculous that Ashley would go to work for Victor. She of all people knows what he’s capable of. She deserves everything she’ll get. That said, I do look forward to watching Jack’s head, then Vikki’s head explode – and how Abby rubs it to Vikki when she comes back from Paris (maternity leave) Nikki will no doubt decide she’s not over Victor if she sees him sniffing perfumes with Ashley…. Nick’s bathroom must have the most pristine vent/duct system I’ve ever seen. You could eat out of that thing. It’s more reflective than my bathroom mirror (note to self – clean bathroom mirror and check vents for stacks of money) Sure, it looks like a lot of money – to you and me – but since it’s only $100’s, it’s chump change for a Newman. Still kinda puzzling as to who put it there. Could the ‘evilest evil-doer who ever eviled’ be returning from the dead – again?
