Ashley joins Abby as she’s giving Victor the ole ‘please wake up’ spiel. The DNA lab has the sample – we’ll know the results in the morning, she updates. Asking for a minute alone with Victor, Ashley knows he won’t leave them like this; Abby, your family needs you – Newman Enterprises will be in big trouble without a strong leader. If that doesn’t wake you up I don’t know what will.
Agreeing it was a mistake to come here, JT and Vikki leave the party. As Jack demands answers on why Kyle voted him off the board and is working with Victor, Hilary appears again looking for commentary. Pleased by the interruption, Kyle smoothly steps up to gush about Walnut Grove making him the man he is today (as Jack grimaces a few feet away)
Now home, Vikki doesn’t want to talk about Mac’s ‘ambush’ but when JT persists relays that Mac’s claiming there was emotional abuse. That’s a lie! JT’s not even sure what emotional abuse is or if it exists. Vikki thinks it does. Not between us, JT’s sure – I apologized for punching the wall. Sure it got ugly but can’t we move on? You said some ugly things and slapped me – doesn’t that make you abusive too? JT tries a different angle. We love each other – let’s hug it out and salvage this night. Over JT’s shoulder, Vikki’s smile doesn’t reach her eyes.
Ashley tells an unconscious Victor that Paul showed up at the house tonight – he thinks Jack did this to you. Can you give me a sign that he didn’t? Ashley’s stunned when Victor’s eyes open.
Jack chases after Kyle – talk to me. Did Victor influence your vote at Jabot? As Hilary’s cameraman zooms in, Paul approaches. I’m in the middle of something, Jack says dismissively. So am I, Paul replies – you’re under arrest for the attempted murder of Victor Newman. A scowling Jack reaches out to cover the camera lens with his hand.

My Thoughts: With guests still arriving to the Walnut Grove soiree, why aren’t the twins (or any other volunteers) stationed at the entrance to check the guest list and hand out name badges? … It looks like Brit is wearing the same dress she was wearing in the flashback. Why would it be up to Hilary whether she sings or not? Isn’t anyone from Walnut Grove in charge of organizing this reunion? Why would Lily be the one to introduce Traci? And since not everyone at the reunion would know who Colleen is, why wasn’t there more explanation, maybe a photo. And why did it take Traci so many years to offer up this scholarship? The Abbott’s could have done it at any time…. What did JT mean when he told Traci that he was ‘doing it for her’? Does he mean Vikki or Colleen? Perhaps JT meant that he messed up by (possibly) killing Victor because he’d be killing the only living part of Colleen (he received her heart if I’m not mistaken) … Kyle’s just as unlikeable as I remember. Too bad Jack doesn’t remember his other son, Chemo …. Of course Vikki’s not going to listen to Mac’s warning.
