Devon sits to hear Hilary’s weepy story. She thought she was pregnant and didn’t know how to take it back after telling him and the whole world. She tried to tell Devon at the office (when Simone was there) but he wouldn’t speak to her in private. Then she went back to the studio and was going to make the announcement on air but viewers had sent baby gifts. It was hard for Hilary to give up her dream, especially after Devon said the agreement was off if she wasn’t already pregnant. Those few days Hilary believed she was pregnant with Devon’s baby were her happiest days she’s ever had. Knowing Devon deserved the truth, Hilary was just about to tell him when Dr Chasen came out. She understands if Devon can’t forgive her.

Nick spouts theories. If JT risked being near the house, why wouldn’t he have seen Vikki? What if JT showed up at Vikki’s begging for another chance? Maybe he convinced her to meet him after you guys left. Maybe you all felt sorry for Vikki so agreed to keep JT’s visit a secret from the police. Sharon has her own theories; maybe JT saw a squad car or realized Vikki had company. Or maybe the phone records aren’t accurate. Sharon has nothing to tell Nick. Why does he believe Mariah’s drunken, hazy memory over her? Nick reminds Sharon that she has a long history of keeping things from him.

Jack orders a stretch limo so everyone can ride to the screening together. Abby updates that Charlie’s on his way over to show them the final version; he’s just working on titles. Yes, he’s a good kid, she agrees – he even re-edited the whole movie because he didn’t like the first cut. Jack looks forward to the pre-screening so he has an idea of what to expect. Thanked for her hard work, Abby feels the project was revelatory and was careful not to give Charlie any footage that Dina wouldn’t want seen. This film will capture her history. Jack hopes Abby’s right that Kyle will attend. Surprised to hear he took Dina out the other night, Jack’s happy his son’s investing time to be a real Abbott again.

Kindly show yourself out, Victor dismisses Kyle (who’s upset that he’s sacrificing his family legacy and isn’t being believed) Victor needs proof beyond a doubt. You’ve offered me nothing so I can’t offer you anything.

Fine, Kyle will leave – but we could do great things at Newman. You shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss me. Victor’s not – he’s impressed and sees Kyle in a new light; we’ll see where this goes. Refusing to give the memory card back to a frustrated Kyle, Victor says he’ll be in touch.

Sharon’s hurt that Nick brought her past up. Sorry, but it’s a pattern Nick can’t ignore – you’ve lied many times since we first met. You got pregnant (with Noah) on purpose even though I wasn’t ready for kids. Sharon didn’t know Nick had all this pent-up negativity towards her. Nick doesn’t – but knows that Sharon’s never trusted him enough to be honest with him.

Lies aside, Devon can relate to how disappointed Hilary was to learn she wasn’t pregnant. He felt like something was taken from him too. Hilary’s so sorry.
