At Jabot, Summer and Billy are enjoying drinks and take-out until he seems to suddenly pull a muscle. When Summer sprints around the desk to massage his shoulders, Billy ends it quickly and is taken by surprise when she kisses him – what the hell was that?! A kiss you let happen, she replies casually.
Neil’s told to relax. Devon won’t crawl into a bottle – he just wants justice. Sure that Neil would side with him if it were anyone else but Lily, Devon can see that her comfort supersedes what happened to his wife and child.
Still at HWG, Lily ends a call with Mike; I’m being arraigned tomorrow. On what charges? Cane expects leniency – right??? He’s horrified to hear that Lily faces two counts of vehicular homicide. I could be locked away for 20 years, she sobs in Cane’s arms.
Jack speaks highly of the way Nick’s reinvented himself; his passion is intoxicating. As he leans in for a kiss, Phyllis turns her head. Apologizing awkwardly, Jack runs out.
Billy’s sick of this – you leave me no choice but to go to your Mother. Call her right now, Summer challenges – you want it to happen. I remind you of who you used to be, who you can be again. The only reason Billy hasn’t told Phyllis already is he doesn’t want to blow up her relationship with Summer. He’s not protecting Summer, he’s protecting Phyllis. Get out. Without further word, Summer complies.

My Thoughts: As I recall it, Lily started up a modeling company on her own. Devon can tell her to move her agency elsewhere but she should still be able to operate from another office. It’s not like she needed a loan and asked Devon to finance whateverthehellit’s called (why does Lily’s modeling company have no name?) If she can’t afford to lease her own office she should give up. Why does she even need an office? She only once had models parade in (and all were eclipsed by Kyle flashing – which should lead to GC Buzz having to adopt a 7-second delay to avoid future incidents of random nudity – not altogether surprising when you broadcast a live show from an open set beside a pool)…. Summer’s disgusting but Kyle is downright creepy. Does he really plan to sip coffee on the CL’s patio while watching his Father make out with Phyllis? Perhaps Sharon can come along and watch the show too … What exactly did Billy do to suddenly pull a muscle? And what surprise does Phyllis have in store for Billy? Coming home to find his brother sitting in his home? He’ll be thrilled.
