Rey loves his brother as much as Abby loves hers. He then asks how it is working for Victor and brings up JT. Are you worried he’ll come after you? No – but not because Victor killed him. JT didn’t hack into the Newman server (she leaves without saying who did) Rey’s left to make more notes.
You never liked Tessa, Mariah accuses – you don’t know her like I do. Sharon now suggests that Tessa’s staying away to protect Mariah. No, she wouldn’t walk away after what she said to me. Sharon lists other times Tessa’s taken the easy way out; running away instead of telling the truth. Determined to stand by her woman, Mariah marches out.

Billy serves Phyllis a coffee with a shot in it. Phyllis doesn’t know how to forget that Summer had a plan to get heer boyfriend into bed. You had no idea? What would you have done if she showed up? Yes, Phyllis needs an answer. Billy likes to believe he’d slam the door in Summer’s face. Why do you doubt me? Phyllis got Summer to Jaboat thinking she was meeting Billy. Why would she go if she didn’t think something would happen when she got there???
Great – just what I need, Sharon grumbles as she mops up water from a leaky pipe behind the counter. When she calls a plumber, she’s told it’ll take 3 hours. Rey’s on the job – got a toolbox?
Why would Summer respond to your invitation? Phyllis presses. Billy has no idea. Fine, he is holding something back. Summer’s a flirt – she uses her youth and beauty to get what she wants. Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Phyllis is angry. Because you’d overreact (like you are right now) Billy claims he shut Summer down. You didn’t say you’d be interested if I wasn’t in the picture? Phyllis can’t forget how they got together. Billy admits he’s not a great guy – I’ve done crappy things. But no more. Ignoring Phyllis, he goes upstairs.
Lily’s crying alone when Abby drops by HWG to hear that her BFF is scared to death but trying to be strong for the kids.
As Sharon blathers on, Rey manages to get soaking wet while ‘fixing’ things behind the counter. He removes his shirt and noting Sharon’s ring asks about the wedding. Sharon utters the words that guarantee failure – this time Nick and I won’t let anyone get in the way or our happiness. She then decides to let the bare-chested Rey get back to work.
Billy’s packed a bag – I don’t belong here. You reminded me that I’m the guy who slept with his brother’s wife – why wouldn’t I sleep with your daughter? After causing Delia’s death etc, sleeping with Summer wouldn’t even be on Billy’s top ten list. He loves Phyllis but knows he doesn’t deserve her. Phyllis apologizes for her accusations. I’m sorry I doubted you ~hug~
I’m lying to them – letting the kids think I’m strong, Lily sniffles. Abby praises her friend and is confident the Judge will be lenient. Lily’s led a sheltered life – she’s not prepared for life in prison – or the possibility that she won’t survive.
Rey’s done a patch job so that Nick can come to Sharon’s rescue when he gets back. He puts on the CL’s T-shirt she brings out. Sharon’s noticed that he doesn’t wear a wedding ring. Rey has a wife but they’re ‘on a break’. Inviting Rey to come by anytime, Sharon thanks him – see you around.
Snuggling under a blanket on the sofa, Billy pressures Phyllis to move out before Summer gets off the boat. Phyllis gives him a kiss as agreement. One more thing; you were honorable in dealing with Summer but if you ever did screw around with my daughter, I’d kill you.
