No one’s trying to get rid of you – we love you, Dina’s family insists – they want the best care for her and will see her all the time. This is my home, Dina weeps. When Kyle arrives, Dina recognizes him and asks for his help. I don’t want to go. You can’t make me, she cries her way out of the room. What the hell just happened? Kyle’s met with silence.

Abby knocks on the door Dina’s locked behind her but gets no response. Kyle’s updated that Traci had an episode with Dina the other day. They’ve found a lovely facility for her. Opposing the move, Kyle snaps at Ashley – he hates this. We all hate this, especially Jack – but this is what’s best for Dina.

Adam has no legal claim to the child, Nikki reminds. Knowing Adam doesn’t respect the law, Nick’s not sure what happens next but it might get ugly.

Getting no response when knocking on the door, Kyle goes around to try the window. As Abby and Jack look for something to pick the lock with, Kyle comes out with Dina’s monitoring bracelet; she’s gone. All look horrified.

At Society, Sharon’s updated Mariah on Adam being alive and back in GC. Arriving with Nikki, Nick warns Sharon that Adam hasn’t changed. Let’s go get a table (Nikki brought Nick there to get his mind off things) The family reunion’s going that well, huh? Mariah quips.

Cane drops by the Abbott’s to hear that Dina escaped without her bracelet. We’ll find her – calm down – it’ll be OK, Cane holds Traci’s hands. Okay, she nods.

Tessa’s singing at the park when Jack comes looking for his Mother. Joining in the applause, he looks over to see Dina sitting on a bench.

Jack found Dina and is bringing her back, a relieved Traci updates Cane.

Ashley joins Jack as he watches Dina enjoying Tessa’s performance in the park. Afterwards, Dina tells the kids that she’s just fine – this young lady has a lovely voice. Summoned over, Tessa chats with the Abbotts. Have you ever played at the Bright Tomorrow’s Center? No, but it sounds amazing – she’d love to come and play for Dina and her friends. Dina would love that. As Ashley leads Dina off, Jack thanks Tessa (who’s left looking very emotional)

Traci just wants to take Dina in her arms and say ‘You’re not alone, I’m here’, Cane feels the same way with Lily (then apologizes – it doesn’t compare) He’d do anything for Lily but can’t help her grieve for her Dad. Traci’s sorry to hear that he signed the divorce papers (which feels so wrong to him) Traci gets a text – the family will be home soon. She thanks Cane – it’s nice to have someone to talk to ~hug~ Take care of yourself – we all depend on you, Cane exits.

So, a guy just walked into the station and said ‘I shot Adam Newman’? Mariah’s sceptical – and does Adam really want Christian? If he does, he hasn’t said anything to Sharon.

At a nearby table, Nick scolds his Mom for stopping him from telling Sharon about Adam’s commands. She doesn’t think he wants custody and Dad’s getting sucked in – why risk blowing up the family again? Nick can’t help but think something more’s going on. Sharon stops by to say that she’s attending the reading of Neil’s will (much to Nikki’s surprise) No, Nick’s not needed to pick Faith up – Rey’s getting her. She’s fine with him moving in. Nikki baulks at the idea of paying Rey to work from home – but it gives Nick an idea.
