You can do whatever you put your mind to, Lauren encourages Phyllis (who is working on something that will put her back on top – but she can’t share the details) Lauren smells revenge.

Neil’s terms are to give Nate a seat on the board of Hamilton Winters (which surprises him and Devon) Nate also inherits Neil’s penthouse. The second stipulation is for Devon to use Kay’s money to help those starting out – commit random acts of kindness – give others golden opportunities – make me proud son. Godspeed everybody. All look solemn.

As all mill about, Devon and Lily have a quiet chat. He assumes she’s starting her new life far away from GC. Lily looks over at Cane (who looks back at her like a lost puppy)

Nate’s blown away, not by the penthouse but by the seat on the board. Ana sees no need for him to be afraid – you can still be a doctor. Give it a chance. You might surprise yourself.

Now at CL’s, Sharon shows Mariah the jewellery that once belonged to Dru. It was so thoughtful of Neil. Mariah’s been thinking a lot about what to do with her life. She wants to shake things up – maybe hosting a TV show isn’t what she wants to do (her stalker drove that point home)

Jack and Ashley join Nikki at Society (Victor had to go back to the office) All feel blessed and are touched by Neil’s intuitive bequests. There will never be another one like him. Jack then gets a text from the facility (nothing special) Nikki expresses sympathy – it must have been hard to put Dina in the facility.

When Lily talks to Devon about his inheritance, he doesn’t want to think about business right now. Knowing how smart their Father was, Lily knows he had good reason to add those stipulations. Devon doesn’t look convinced. Lily then goes over to talk to Cane. How can I help? he asks. Excuse me? Lily has something to say to Cane – I’m sorry.

Sharon hopes Mariah’s not making life decisions because a guy threw a brick through a window. No, but Jared did get Mariah thinking. She tries to put a positive spin on gossip but it’s still gossip. But what else am I qualified to do? My resume is; thief, con artist, bartender, dead sister impersonator. That’s nonsense – Sharon sees herself as an example that it’s never too late to start a new journey. Neil left us all with a lot to think about – make the best decision for you, Sharon leaves Mariah to think.

Cane’s puzzled – what does Lily have to apologize for? She knows that Neil’s words about forgiveness might have gotten his hopes up. She hasn’t changed her mind and still wants the divorce. Cane will use Neil’s words to change his life – he’s already got a new job – coaching recent parolees; helping them get jobs. Lily thinks that great. What’s new in her world? Not much – her work at the prison is going well. Cane then informs that Traci’s writing a new novel – basing a character on him. Crazy right? It’s a hoot. Well, Lily should go – she has a long drive ahead of her. Cane tries (but fails) to get her to stay long enough for dinner. Take care, they both say. No hug for Cane but Ana gets one, so does Nate, then Devon. Watching, Cane’s even sadder when Lily hurries past him to the door.
