Back in Vegas, Phylis tells Cane that she wants Adam to come back to GC with her to help with unsettled debts – and she’s using his association with Chance as leverage to pressure him. Getting a text from Jill, Cane asks Phyllis to leave. You need my help, she leaves in a huff. Now alone, Cane reads a text – from Chance. I know you’re looking for me. can’t talk in private. too risky. will drop a place and time to meet. come alone.

Vikki’s brought Billy to the park – to watch from afar as the kids play with Hannah. After our workday, this is what matters – we’re partners in parenting and love – that’s enough for Vikki. Billy too. You’re right – now, last one to the swings has to push.

At CL’s, Elena whines to Nate that Devon’s obsessed – maybe it’s over Tucker breaking the law – maybe it’s Amanda looking exactly like Hilary. Devon’s wild about you, Nate knows Elena has nothing to be insecure about. Perhaps Devon’s bothered that Tucker thought he’d need money to succeed. How can I help him? Elena wonders.

Naive? Jill’s having a hard time not taking offence to Devon’s attitude. Am I supposed to be happy that Cane’s on a mission to prove he’s the rightful heir to Kay’s estate? Devon obviously doesn’t like his former brother in law. Jill has no skin in this game – she’s not doing this for Cane, she’s doing it for Kay. Keep telling yourself that, Devon smirks. Jill marches out – and bumps into Amanda. He’s all yours – good luck.

Victor ends a call with his PR team – the announcement of his retirement will be going global soon. What a mistake it would have been to put Adam in charge. You’ll never have to worry about it again, Nikki smiles.

Amanda wonders whether Devon’s located Mr Chancellor. It’s not his job to find her client. Finding him is the key to everything – to everyone’s questions, Amanda explains but doesn’t immediately deny that she suspects she too might be getting played.

Cane calls Jill to update that he’ll be meeting Chance later. She relays her visit with Devon – Kay’s final wishes must be respected and we can only hope Devon agrees. If these new will pages are legit, we need to decide whether to cross that bridge or burn it down. Ending the call, Cane grabs his coat and leaves.

In a hotel room for some afternoon delight, Vikki and Billy vow to make time for each other – no kids or board meetings; just us and our wildest fantasies ~kiss~

Nikki produces two apples – let’s go feed the horses. Victor will be along shortly – he has a surprise for her. Now alone, he makes a call. It’s me, Call off the surveillance of Adam – let him go.

Nate isn’t sure what Devon should do – it’s not his donkey, not his farm. And Elena? She won the lottery when she met Devon – but she doesn’t care about the money. He’s using Kay’s money to make the world a better place. And he deserves answers. It’ll be settled one way or the other soon, Nate believes life will go on as normal.

Amanda will represent her client to the best of her abilities. That will only change if new facts come to light. Devon isn’t buying it – you’re wondering what you got yourself into. Amanda’s said everything that needs to be said – if you find Mr Chancellor give me a call (she then leaves)

Chance – where are you? Cane’s in a commercial alleyway. He’s promptly hit over the head and dragged off by a mystery assailant.
