Lily tells a protesting Jill to sit down and hear what Devon’s decided. He will honour Kay’s wishes and give the inheritance to Cane – but keep Hamilton-Winters.

Connor up in his room, Chelsea’s updated that he’s adjusting and loves it there – we had a burping contest this morning, Adam boasts that he won – learned it from you. Sounds like he’s having the time of his life, Chelsea sighs but trusting you’ll stick around will take some time. Adam thanks her and Nick for making him realize that Connor needs him. He needs both of us, Chelsea emphasizes.
You can see him any time you want, Adam offers to adjust his schedule. One thing – don’t mention taking him away. OK, Chelsea understands that but understand this – no one will come between her and her son.
No questions? We can consider this matter closed, Amanda leaves to prepare the paperwork. Neil and Kay would be so proud of you, Jill gushes. Asking for a moment alone with Devon, Cane thanks him. Thank Kay, Devon has no idea why she wanted him to have the money. You’re not expecting a hug or something are you? No, Cane doesn’t want a hug. He then leaves Devon to sit and look around briefly before exiting himself.
Sure, Rey once advised Sharon to avoid Adam like the plague but things have changed. He said he only wants what’s best for Connor and would never use his son to manipulate me, Sharon believes he means it – today. Rey’s confident that she can handle anything Adam throws at her.
Mr Hamilton, Amanda greets Devon at TGP. He thanks her and wonders how it feels to close the book on this case. It’s just like any other, she doesn’t take anything personally. Devon’s sorry for accusing her of messing with his head – he’s not a rude guy. No, you’re one in a couple of billion, Mr Hamilton.
Seated at Society, Cane will skip to the point – Devon has every reason to distrust me; I didn’t do right by you. Lily wants to stay in the present. Cane knows everyone expects him to screw this up. Our kids will want for nothing. They wouldn’t before this either, Lily’s sure (and makes it clear that she’s only in town for Devon) Knowing it’s a lot to ask, Cane wants Lily to stick around and navigate his way around all this.

Good luck with everything, take care of yourself, Lily’s words are echoed. After she leaves, cane gets a call from Jill. Something’s not right – she looked again at the letter Chance wrote – the crest is from the Maldives; a place on her bucket list with Collin. Cane suggests it’s coincident. Chance said he’d been out of touch because he was undercover but Jill wonders if he was ever involved. She suspects Collin and will find him for answers.
Chelsea comes home to update Nick that she and Adam sorted out the schedule and then we went up to see Connor. He said – don’t make me go back there. Nick thinks Adam’s brainwashed him; it makes no sense that he’d beg not to be brought back here. In tears, Chelsea couldn’t say anything – Connor needs to know that no one’s taking Adam away from him. I told him he didn’t have to come back here. What am I supposed to do without my little boy? she cries in Nick’s arms.
Sharon calls Adam to say that she’s given the issue a lot of thought. Rey? He’s OK with whatever she decides – he encouraged her to work with Connor. But if that’s the way you’re going to talk to me … When Adam apologizes, Sharon agrees to help. Anything for Connor, Adam sounds sincere.
