Adam declares his love for Chelsea; Sharon’s happy with Rey. Chelsea wonders how he feels – and if Sharon hadn’t insisted on openness you’d have kept me in the dark, she realizes. Adam needs to get to the bottom of this so he can be a good husband and Father. Support me, he implores.

Nick and Phyllis are animatedly playing the new video game on their phones. You’ve been practicing! she accuses before winning (obnoxiously)

Sharon understands why Rey’s worried. He’s not jealous; he knows nothing romantic’s going on. Good – it wasn’t easy for Adam to come to her – he’s in pain. Rey can show Sharon he loves her by trusting that she can set boundaries.

We know what happened – it was an accident, Chelsea’s sure. I know you better than anyone, even Sharon. You’re already a great Father and husband – you don’t need these memories.

Phyllis can’t believe Nick talked the chef into putting extra chili peppers on her chicken. Dessert? It was better than sex (with someone else) You nailed it. TGP will be more than a hotel; Phyllis will host a secret club for women that caters to their desires to escape. Men have golf and mancaves. The Grand Pheonix Escape Club will make women feel like she does right now.

Theo confesses to Lola that he stole an old idea of Jack’s idea and pitched it to him. He fell into a trap Kyle and Summer set for him. He then relays his good conversation with Mariah. Lola declares that progress. Theo has something else on the go (which he credits his little goofball for) inspiring. Lola’s trip to Miami was a disaster – she’s cutting her losses to follow her dreams in GC.

Kyle and Mariah agree that what Sharon’s going through puts things in perspective. The amazing Tessa turned down a music festival to support me, she gushes (then jokes about him and Tanner always trying to take credit) Hearing that Summer’s taking some time off to be with Faith, Mariah grudgingly has to give her credit.

Theo emerges from the kitchen to text Billy; can we meet? I have something to run by you. Kyle appears – no drama, he promises – just has a few things he wants to say.

Kyle offers Theo a heartfelt apology for the way he handled things with his former friend and cousin. He doesn’t feel like he ‘won’. Family’s forever (as Jack always says) Kyle hopes they can move forward. What was that all about? Lola comes out to ask Theo.

Sharon explains that being a therapist is instinctual; part of who she is and wants to be. Rey understands it’ll be a distraction and give her the satisfaction of helping someone. He’s trying to see things from her perspective but hopes she’ll see things from his. Adam hasn’t thought about the toll this will take on you. Think it over.

Chelsea’s calmed down but still thinks Adam should move on and be happy; it’s what his Mother would want. We can live the lives we want – like in Paris. We tried that – it wasn’t right for us. Running away isn’t the answer. If Chelsea doesn’t want him to do it, Adam won’t.

Still in her robe, Phyllis fleshes out her idea. Nick loves seeing her so passionate, confident and sexy as hell.

Theo thinks Kyle was sincere in his apology but shakes his head – I’ve thought way too much about what he thinks of me. He then gets a reply from Billy – he has some time now. Good news? Lola asks. Yes, Theo’s set up a meeting with his prospective new boss. Wishing Theo a belated happy birthday, Lola sends him off – we’ll celebrate later.

As Kyle watches Theo and Lola part, Mariah wonders if he’s feeling a pang. No, he just wants Lola to be happy and is relieved that she’s moving on.

Sharon’s aware of Adam’s narcissistic tendencies and that’s what gives her a head start in treating him. Rey will support her decision. This might be painful for you too – if you need someone to lean on, come to me. Sharon promises she will.

Appreciating Adam’s trust in her, Chelsea’s seeing things more clearly now and sees no downside to Sharon helping Adam (even if it’s not what he needs)
