May I see that please? Adam takes his phone. What line did you and Sharon cross? Chelsea wants to know. It was a conversation that got too personal, Adam explains – we unloaded on each other and decided Sharon shouldn’t counsel Adam. Where did that conversation happen? At the motel? With or without your clothes on. OMG – Sharon was in the room when I went knocking.

Chelsea’s furious – now it all makes sense. Yes, Sharon was in the motel room but Adam thought she left. We knew how it would look so kept quiet. Hearing that Sharon’s cancer spread, Chelsea thinks it for the best she stop treating Adam. He changes to subject to what Billy and Alyssa might be up to.

Back in the office, Theo suggests that Chelsea could add some fashion content to their platform. She’s a beautiful woman and very persuasive but she lives with a very bad man, Billy warns him to steer clear.

Phyllis loves Nick’s idea of a getaway but is too busy with the Escape Club. No matter how well things are lined up I find a way to destroy it, she reminds that this time last year she was running Dark Horse. Nick convinces her that she won’t ruin things this time.

How are things going between you and Billy? Sharon asks. We focus on what we agree on; the kids. Yes, he’s a great Dad, Vikki agrees then deciding it time to go, apologizes. She hopes Sharon sticks to her guns where Adam’s concerned – I consider you family. But not Adam? Sharon’s question is ignored. As soon as Vikki leaves, Sharon checks her phone and pouts over Adam not replying.

No, Billy won’t tell Theo what these secret meetings with that journalist are about – it’s better for you. Theo looked Alyssa up online and assumes she’s working on his big story. You’ll know soon enough – there’s been a big break in the case.

Back at the penthouse, Chelsea tells Adam that she’s heard a lot, none of it good. Billy hired a PI – who was able to find the missing guy’s wife. She’ll talk to Alyssa. Too bad it’s not going to turn out the way Billy hopes it will, Adam seems unconcerned.

In her suite at TGP, Phyllis and Nick discuss their relationship over beers and food. Both are glad Summer’s with Kyle instead of Theo. Thanks for being you, believing in me, Phyllis vows never to betray Nick.

Chelsea goes banging on Sharon’s door. Stay the hell away from my fiance! Understood!?

When Vikki calls, Billy updates that Alyssa’s onboard and fired up to take Adam down. This won’t be a story it’ll be an indictment. This is a scathing, psychological profile on Adam, listing everything illegal he’s done. Yes, Victor will be featured prominently – Dr Frankenstein created this monster. In fact, that’s what the story’s called – The Making of a Monster. Back at the penthouse, Adam listens.

Next week: I want to say I’m sorry, Devon apologizes – I should have trusted you to understand. But you didn’t and we both know the reason why, Elena replies…. Vikki drops by Billy’s office – How is this for a headline ‘How Son Would Stop At Nothing To Stop His Own Dad. Tell me what I need to do to get that in print, Billy’s interested … At Society, Adam tells Victor that with what’s about to happen it’s better that Connor’s far away from GC.
