This was incredible, Amanda thanks Devon; who grins at the thought of all the hell she and Hilary would have been to raise together. He enjoyed their time too, so much he invites Amanda to do it again. She’ll take him up on that.

At Society’s bar, Vikki waves to Chance before he can ‘high tail it outta here’. How’s Abby? but it’s really Adam she’s nosy about. We don’t talk much, Chance claims. I thought you were close, Vikki mentions Vegas. Chance declares that ‘ancient history’; his way of saying dead and buried. Is that the case here??? Vikki’s all ears.

Elena comes home to find Devon sitting in the dark at a table elegantly set for two. What is all this? A small portion of what you deserve, he stands to say.

‘Ancient history’ means that Chance won’t waste time tying himself up in knots over anything he and Adam did. He has more important things on his agenda. Like what? He’s up for a job at the GCPD. Vikki suggests that might be a conflict of interest – assuming Chance broke some laws in the past. Don’t we all have skeletons in our closets? he’s unconcerned.

Don’t shut me out, Chelsea pleads. Adam loves Chelsea too much to involve her – the most important thing is trust. Just be careful, I love you. I love you too. It’s going to be OK, Adam promises. After Chelsea goes upstairs, Adam makes a call. I need something taken care of quickly and quietly, right now.

This is all for me? Elena asks. Yes, who else? Where’s Amanda? She left a long time ago. How did it go? Great – Amanda got a lot of answers and Devon liked sharing stories about Hilary. Helping Amanda isn’t forever – like you and I are, he tells Elena not to worry about him, or their relationship. Trust that everything will turn out the way it’s supposed to ~hug~

Amanda’s at the clinic to thank Nate. Devon and I talked and talked, watched an episode of GC Buzz. It was incredible. Hilary’s been a presence since she got to GC – she’s now proud to look like her twin and eager to embark on this bittersweet adventure. After taking a call from the hospital, Nate finds Amanda shedding happy tears. I don’t know the whole story but this is a beautiful beginning.

Arriving at TGP, Billy leaves Alyssa a message – I hope you’re decent, I’m heading up with some intel that’ll blow your mind; the bombshell we’ve been waiting for.

Chance is pretty good at solving mysteries but Vikki’s stumped him on this one. How did we go from discussing Abby to conflict of interest if I become a cop? We were talking about Adam, Vikki supposes Chance was distracted by the skeletons in his closet. Vikki hopes that’s true that Chance isn’t in contact with Adam; she won’t be the last to question his integrity – you better get used to it.

Alyssa, it’s Billy, he creeps into the door left ajar. Did you get my message? The suite is empty, the bed neatly made as if no one’s stayed there.

My Thoughts: Aren’t smartphones great? So great that one can watch an entire hour show; an hour to be exact; the Hilary Hour. I wonder if Amanda’s arm got tired. Billionaire Devon doesn’t have a Chromecast? Equally laughable, Adam and Chelsea listening to the goings-on in Billy’s office on a phone. No bluetooth speaker system to amplify the sound? And why not record it so they can pore over it all 24/7? …. How on earth was Chance successful as an undercover FBI agent for years? He was putty in Vikki’s hands and always comes across as an eager to please a boy scout. He has no poker face at all. Luckily there’s a mystery a’brewin’ right upstairs (where oh where has Alyssa gone??) … Knowing how troubled Elena is (and who wouldn’t be?) why can’t Devon walk his walk down memory lane to a different location other than the home he shares with Elena? And why on earth is a weepy Amanda blathering on that she has a family; a sister, parents. She seems to have no interest in learning who Rose was – and her Father was never in the picture. I wonder at what point in his storytelling, Devon will get to the chapter in which he and Hilary had an affair on his blind Father? … Elena and Nate are very busy doing shifts at the clinic. There doesn’t seem to be anyone else on staff and if Nate hadn’t mentioned going to the hospital I’d have forgotten he still works there.
