Accepting Billy’s apology for blabbing that she’s Hilary’s sister, Amanda took his advice. Talking to other people about her sister resulted in a profound sense of loss.

When Abby arrives at Society, it’s clear she’s looking for (and trying to avoid) someone. Health inspector? Phyllis? Mariah guesses and offers to listen. Are we friends? Kinda. Chance and I just had a difficult conversation, Abby wonders if she’s ready to be a Mom.

Meeting at TGP, Adam has bad news – Alyssa’s written a damning article about me – it might include Vegas. Chance has bad news too – a source told him that Alyssa was asking a lot of questions in Vegas and has probably put the pieces together. Adam’s disappointed that Chance is too much of a good guy to use his resources to block Billy. Saying that he’d do it all over again, Adam leaves Chance to look guilty.

As Billy listens and provides supportive input, Amanda describes the pressure of having to be perfect growing up (so she wouldn’t get moved to another foster home) Unable to find a hospital birth record, she speculates that Rose wasn’t their biological Mother. Billy’s pleased that Amanda came to him and will always be here for her. Now – on to business; is Billy really willing to risk ChanceCom to stick it to the Newmans??

The math doesn’t add up – Dina wasn’t old enough to be the GI’s girlfriend, Traci has no idea how she acquired the necklace. Perhaps John gave it to her as a gift. Maybe, but why didn’t Dina wear it again? Why did she want them to watch the home movie? Both are intrigued by the name of the necklace; The Teardrop of Love.

Abby confides to Mariah – maybe I wouldn’t be a good Mom. You’re good at everything you put your mind too, and Mariah knows she’d have the most stylish kid in town. Yet again, she gives solid advice – if you want a life/baby with Chance, don’t worry about the ‘what ifs’. As Abby expresses her happiness, Chance arrives at Society.

Chelsea’s called a bunch of lawyers but wasn’t able to come up with a way to stop Billy. Adam updates that Chance thinks everything’s going to come out. Even Victor can’t stop this train. We’ll be OK – but what about Connor? They then joke about kidnapping Billy/Lily – you grab the rope, I’ll get the chloroform.

Mr Newman saunters into ChanceCom with a smug smirk and threats of long-suffering agony. Can I quote you on that? Billy asks. You bet, Victor grimaces.

Abby cuts Chance off to set the record straight. She loves babies, and Chance but all she can offer right now is a ‘maybe – someday’. That’s more than enough for a smitten Chance.

Since Nick’s not rushing out to save Adam, Phyllis suspects he’s not going to do anything about stopping that article. You’re happy Adam’s crimes are going to be exposed. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, Nick confirms she’s right.

Victor looks forward to wiping the smug smile Off Billy’s face. Overconfidence is a flaw. You did this to yourself and your family, Billy grins. A parent protects their children, you failed in that department, Victor snarls. Get out – now, Billy orders. You’ll rue this day for the rest of your life, Billy Boy, Victor leaves Billy to send a text. Chelsea gapes at her phone. Adam gets a text that makes his jaw hang open too. Lily marches into the office with her phone – what did you just do!?
