Billy accuses Mike of wanting a win – you don’t care about justice. I have the truth on my side and am not afraid of a fight. You have until 5 pm today – after that the offer goes away, Mike snaps then leaves.

Sally informs Jack that Theo’s insulted by their offer (which she would have taken) When Kyle arrives, Jack leaves Sally to repeat her gossip. Kyle’s not surprised; Theo’s always been greedy. Yes, we have history. He’s surprised that Sally’s so open about pretending to be Theo’s friend – and agrees that the truth always comes out.

Summer accosts Theo on the CL’s patio – you’ve reached an all-time low – how could you do this while the Abbotts are grieving? They disagree on whether Theo was embraced by the family. You’re mad because you didn’t get Teardrop of Love jewelry? she sneers. Kyle and Abby got huge inheritances – I got a pen, Theo whines. You’re not asking for a piece of the pie, you’re asking for the whole thing, Summer points out.

When Victor wonders why Adam and Chelsea’s departure is delayed, he gets no information. Hoping that one day Adam understands that he told him what happened when he was a boy with good intentions, Victor leaves.

Abby and Chance endure spit-up and a dirty diaper (before Myles finally falls asleep)

At Society, Amanda and Billy bicker about whether he should take Mike’s deal. Our PI hasn’t found any evidence that you’re being framed (she then lists the evidence against him that the jury will hear) Billy needs a lawyer who’ll keep him out of prison – I don’t need time to think it over – goodbye, he fires Amanda.

You’ll lose this case and any chance of a relationship with the Abbotts, Summer warns. It’s not worth it (she tells the tale of Nick joining Abby’s lawsuit against Victor) Hearing that Victor Newman lost to his kids, Theo thanks Summer for the boost of confidence.

In her usual brash manner, Sally pitches herself to take over Summer’s marketing role at Jabot. The position’s already been filled, Kyle replies. By who? By me, Mariah appears to say.

Having received a call from Amanda, Lily joins Billy at Society to say that it’s her job to present him with his options. Billy won’t plead guilty to something he didn’t do. Lily’s been to prison – listen to me.

Running into Lauren at CL’s, Jack asks about Sally – she won’t be content being someone’s assistant for too long, they agree. We wouldn’t have been content either, Lauren’s OK with that (unless Sally steps on someone else to get ahead)

Kyle introduces Sally to Mariah; Jabot’s new head of Marketing. She used to run Power Communications (and even has some on-camera experience) Oh yes, Sally gushes – Jabot’s lucky to grab you.

Back at the penthouse, Adam sees the bright side – sure, Chelsea will have to wait until after the holidays to treat her aneurysm but then they can leave GC. Having watched Adam with Victor, she’s not so sure.

With Myles sleeping in her arms, Abby and Chance gaze up at Katherine’s portrait – pretty soon we’ll be holding our own baby (who will be raised in this house)

Adam IS ready to leave GC and everything it represents. But, we’ll be spending Christmas here.

Politely shooed out so that Kyle can discuss business with Mariah, Sally fumes in the hallway.

Bumping into Jack at CL’s, Mike claims to get no joy out of prosecuting his brother. Then drop the charges, Jack snaps before exiting. On the patio, Mike admits to Lauren that he couldn’t look Billy in the eye and say he’s guilty, but he must follow the facts, wherever they lead.

Billy doesn’t want to talk about Amanda – with the only person who has faith in him. He talked to a source on the GCPD who knows where this eye witness is staying. We can’t waste time – we need to come up with a plan, Lily’s onboard.
