At Newman Media, Nikki still has reservations about Ashland. Victor was watching him and Vikki closely. There’s something going on and he intends to find out what.

Still at TGP, Ashland doesn’t blame Vikki’s parents (who won’t have to worry for long) She doesn’t like when he makes jokes instead of sharing how he feels. You don’t want to know what’s on my mind. Yes, she does. Ashland’s enjoying his time with Vikki – come upstairs with me.

A distraught Summer stops short and chokes back tears as she watches Kyle sitting on the grass with Harrison. He misses the ball that’s disappeared too but we’ll find another one; an even better ball.

Abby and Nina have summoned Chris to the estate. She no longer works for the feds so has no way to contact Chance. His wife and Mother plead their case. Chris has limited avenues to pursue but can’t make any promises. I’ll do what I can.

Jack joins Summer at the park. He wants to gather the rest of the Abbott’s to meet Harrison. Luckily they don’t have to battle Ashland for custody. Cutting Harrison out of Kyle’s life would devastate him. Tara appears to look smug – Summer looks conflicted.

When Mariah returns from her walk, she rubs her belly and states that this boy wants peanut butter and apples. Are we having a boy?? Abby asks excitedly.

Mariah’s stammering fools no one. Do you hate me? We’re having a boy! Abby can’t wait for Chance to get home. Of course she’s not angry – we’re having a baby boy!

In their suite, Kyle will miss Summer (while he’s away on a sleepover with Harrison) I have a lot of time to make up for. He needs to know I’m not going anywhere. That goes for you too – we tell each other everything, he reminds.

Over wine in Ashland’s suite, Vikki reflects on being stabbed at the art exhibit. He feels selfish for bringing her into all this chaos. He wants her to always be completely honest with him. He’d understand if she wanted to move on. We’ll shake hands and part as friends. That’s not what Vikki wants to do.

Vikki’s capable of letting someone know when she’s had enough. She’d move on if she wanted to. Now, let’s talk about getting your affairs in order. She hopes for the best for Ashland but will help him plan for the worst. She proposes they merge their businesses; one powerhouse company – your legacy will live on. Whaddaya think?

Back at the house, Harrison in bed, Jack notes that the lost ball was the first gift Kyle gave him. On cue, Kyle comes home ending a call with Summer. Tara’s glad he could make it. Kyle would do anything for that boy. Tara hopes Summer feels the same way.

Alone in the suite, a crying Summer gets a call from Angeline Marchetti. Are you free to talk about becoming my new creative director? Is this a good time? Yes, Summer would like to hear all about it.

On the CL’s patio, Chris tells Nina that she feels for Abby. Her caustic remarks worry Nina – do you know something about Chance? Is he in danger?

Back at the estate, Abby’s asleep on the sofa as the figure looming above her casts a shadow.

Next week: Whatever’s going on between you and Ashland is news – you’re both public figures people are curious, says Billy. Maybe YOU’RE curious, Vikki seems to like that idea … Nate wants Elena at his side – are you willing to take that leap with me? …. You utter bitch, Summer hisses. Oh sweetie, you have no idea, Tara says condescendingly.
