Phyllis whines to Nick about Summer and Kyle’s decision to stay in Italy – even after she called to say that her job running JVC is available. She also feels bad for her friend Jack; having lost Kyle and Sally, he’ll be devastated if Harrison goes to live in Italy too.
At the house, Jack tells Harrison that his Father’s coming to visit. But first, a trip to the park to play catch. Go get your mitt.
Informed that Ashland and Vikki are making up for lost time and that he’s decided to start treatment, Victor’s glad his daughter has finally found a man worthy of her (high praise if Nikki’s eyebrows are any indication)
Nick drops by the ranch to update his Mom that Kyle’s moving to Italy to be with Summer (and it’s all thanks to Phyllis’ persistence) As for Harrison, that will be up to Ashland. Perhaps Vikki can influence him. Probably, but Nikki will let her give her brother the big news.
Back home, Vikki warns Ashland not to get used to being in her Father’s good graces. He’s sure Victor sees how much he respects Vikki for the amazing woman she is.
Victor joins Adam at Newman Media to hear that Ashland sold all of his NY properties. Seems he’s planning to run out the clock here in GC. Ashland will be around longer than you think, Victor warns a pessimistic Adam not to put the cart before the horse.
Whatever Adam’s about to say about Ashland’s ‘stamina’ is interrupted by Chloe. You have free reign so don’t have to come to me for every decision, he reminds. Taking her tablet, an impressed Adam approves her website design. Victor’s left to lecture on how dangerous ‘that woman’ is.
Jack wraps up his trip to the park with Harrison by floating the idea of ‘new places’ and that he’ll love him no matter where he is.
Ashland and Vikki discuss the treatment he starts tomorrow, being ‘cranky’ and how he’ll approach his talk with Harrison. No, he doesn’t need Vikki to come with him – maybe next time.
At CL’s, Phyllis eavesdrops on the tail end of Sally’s phone call with ‘Grams’ then taunts her for being unemployed.
Nikki’s not surprised to hear that Phyllis is heartbroken by Summer’s decision. She’ll get used to it, just like she did Daniel moving to Georgia, Nick has confidence.
Adam explains his strategy to keep Chloe and Chelsea busy and distracted with work. Victor wants him to mend fences with Vikki (as he has with Nick) You both need to be supportive of her – she has a lot on her plate.
On the CL’s patio, Chloe frets that maybe she’s caught in Adam’s spider web. You’re not his target, Kevin points out. When Chloe spots Sally Spectra inside, Phyllis appears like a genie from a lamp to warn – don’t get involved with her. If you don’t trust me, ask Lauren.
