You’re right, Nick admits. Oh! Oh? Am I right? What part of it? Phyllis pushes. All of it – Nick wanted to stop the wedding but didn’t because he loves his sister and has no right to overrule her decision to marry Ashland. He should accept it, just like he demanded everyone accept his decision to reconcile with Phyllis.

The tension eased between him and Phyllis, Nick’s still not happy that Victor cut him out and turned to Adam. Phyllis is sorry this has been such a difficult trip for Vikki. Their backs to one another, Nick pours a drink while Phyllis looks fed up with his whining.

Ashland joins the most beautiful woman on the planet to update that their kids are watching a movie with the nanny. He appreciates how accepting Katie and Johnny have been of Harrison. Ashland spoke to Gaines – Vikki doesn’t have to worry about him disrupting their evening. Also, Billy deleted a video Gaines sent him to preserve his relationship with Vikki.

When Sally calls him over, Jack scolds her for the wedding dress stunt. Lucky for you Vikki liked the dress. It wasn’t luck, Sally worked her tail off – would it kill you to say ‘good job’? Agreeing that she doesn’t care what Jack thinks, Sally spots Adam – There you are – let’s go have some fun. Jack stomps off.

No sooner has Sally told Adam that she wants to dance all night long, Victor calls summons him away. You and I have to attend to something. Adam promises to catch up with Sally later (which she isn’t happy about)

Victor updates Adam that Ashland talked to Gaines – he seemed receptive to what he had to say. Adam vowed to help make this day everything Vikki wants it to be – that still stands. That’s what family does – steps up when it counts. Nick and his scowl march over – there’s some things we need to clear up.

Vikki (wearing a simpler white gown) and Ashland arrive at their reception to applause and camera flashbulbs going off.

My Thoughts: Considering how big this reception of the century is supposed to be, there doesn’t ever seem to be any wedding guests milling about and no one has any trouble reconnecting with their date. Billy confirmed it’s an ‘open bar’ (which one would expect at the wedding of the century) but there was no bar in sight…. Ashland told Jesse that he should be happy with the money he and Victor gave him but didn’t even bring up the money Billy paid him off with too. Or does Ashland think Billy brought Jesse all the way to Italy because he’s a fun guy? …. Who invited Jack anyway?? When he’s not overly praising everyone in sight (except Sally) he’s reminding everyone how old he is. For those of you not born in the Victorian era, a ‘dance card’ was carried around by young ladies attending formal balls (a fancy occasion) to organize which man she’d pair up with for which dance. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s wearing garter-socks! … Enough about Vikki’s dress already. Craftsmanship my ass! It looks like the puffy satin used to line coffins. If she were to have laid down to take a nap, it’d look like she was at her own open-casket funeral … Line of the day goes to Nikki (though I may be paraphrasing slightly) ‘Your Father wouldn’t let anyone ruin your wedding day’ she tells Vikki with a straight face – if only she’d have added ‘except for that time he had you arrested on the day you married Billy’
