Mariah appreciates Noah saving them from ‘pin the bridal bouquet on the donkey’. Hey, that’s a fun game, Sharon says from behind the counter. Noah can’t stay to help more with wedding plans – he’s having drinks with friends. After he leaves, an excited Sharon’s told not to go overboard planning two events. With a kiss and I love you, Tessa goes to get them some food from Society.
Lily and Devon wish Neil could have met Dom. Mom and Dad are smiling down on us. Oh look, they sent some angel magic. Dom’s asleep … until a loud Faith and Moses burst in laughing; it’s our first anniversary. Ooops – sorry. Dom’s crying again. This is going to be his second home, Devon tells Moses.
A bare chested Chance goes through the mail; opening one he finds particularly interesting, the long, hand-written letter makes him very emotional. Abby comes downstairs to ask what’s wrong. Chance is so upset he can’t answer.
The letter is from the widow of one of Chance’s deceased teammates. He sent money for the funeral. Reading the letter to Abby, excerpts include; Stop feeling guilty for surviving. It wasn’t your fault. Find a way to be as generous with yourself as you were with me and my daughter. Live your life with purpose. Be happy. Justin would want that. Abby hopes Chance will listen; none of this was your fault. How can I just move on and let that go? Chance asks.
It’s one overnight a week; Devon will give Moses a heads up next time, Faith tells her Mom that she and Moses were allowed to quietly peek in on Dominic. Lily goes over to chat with Amanda – she’s happy she was able to help and avoid going to court. Devon’s forming a bond with Dom. Lily knows Amanda will too. After everyone leaves, Devon shushes Dom then takes him upstairs to his own room.
At Society to pick up dinner, Tessa’s surprised to find Noah drinking alone. I thought you were meeting friends. I guess they bailed on me, Noah lies unconvincingly. He declines a ride home – it’s not a good idea.
Dom asleep upstairs, Devon and Amanda clink their wine glasses and debate who’s more responsible for making this happen. Amanda’s so proud of him. He finds it attractive; the way she opened her home and arms to Dom. When he cries out, Devon will take care of it. Amanda finds that incredibly attractive.
Chance feels sick knowing that he failed his team and the mission. Abby knows he’s going through hell. Together we’ll find a way for you to heal and get to the other side. All Chance needs is Abby ~kiss~
After Lily drops her off at CL’s, Faith tells Sharon about Dom spending time at Devon’s place. Mariah comes over to endorse the idea; it’s what’s best for Dom. Tessa and I will have a baby of our own. She looks sad as her Mom hugs her.
Noah will get himself home but promises not to drive. Are you OK? When you love someone, you want them to be happy – and I love my sister so I’m fine. He leaves Tessa looking conflicted.
