Tessa meets Mariah at CL’s – you look amazing. Too amazing for an adoption attorney? Mariah really wants to get this ball rolling. She finds it odd that Noah hasn’t responded to her text to meet them; guess he’s busy with his new job. No secrets, Mariah reminds (noticing that something’s on Tessa’s mind) It’s about your brother, she sighs.
Chris updates Devon and Amanda that Abby needs more time – that’s all she said.

Nick watches from a distance as Phyllis tells Jack that she’ll tell him all about the job when they go out for dinner. Jack looks forward to it. Nick comes over to ask the hotel’s manager about hosting some big meetings with New Hope donors. Phyllis would love to help with that. Is everything alright? Nick feels like he interrupted something. Phyllis updates Nick that she’s considering moving to Milan to work with Summer.
Tessa reports running into Noah the other night at Society; he was drinking, alone. It seems he still has feelings for me and said ‘When you love someone, you want to be happy for them’ – he said he loves you (Mariah)… But it’s clear he meant you, Mariah exhales – my brother is still in love with you.
Chance apologizes for the delay. Yes, everything’s good. Abby comes down – with Dom; she thought he should be with them. It’s a big day, for all of us.
Jack now gone, Nick thought he and Phyllis might be working their way back to one another. He’s a good friend, Phyllis adds that he’s encouraging her to pursue this. Nick’s happy for Phyllis – if this is what she wants and she’s doing it for the right reasons.
On the CL’s patio, Jack tells Billy how proud he is that Kyle’s doing a good job for Jabot. He’s proud of Billy too (for walking away from his feud with Adam) Then why does it look like you’ve lost your best friend? Billy asks.
