At Newman, Ashland’s barking into his phone – finally! No more surprises – don’t disappoint me again ~click~ When Nate drops by, Ashland can tell that Victor’s spoken to him. Tell me you haven’t been lying this whole time, Nate implores.
Lauren grills Kevin at Society. When was the last time you talked to Mike? She hasn’t heard from him in two days! Who knows what shady business Victor’s involved him in.
At Newman Media, Victor updates Adam that Ashland called his bluff; told Vikki everything. She believed him and is furious with me. What’s your next step? Adam asks his Father.
Victor will have to tell Vikki that she married a fraud. He can’t believe Ashland was able to spin this web of deceit right under his nose. Perhaps Ashland knows something we don’t. Victor needs proof to convince Vikki but hasn’t heard from Mike; hopefully, he’s safe and in hiding. He doesn’t like that Ashland’s in the driver’s seat.

Back at CL’s, Nikki doesn’t know what to believe. Kevin lists some of the many reasons for Mike not being able to call Lauren. She has a bad feeling that Victor’s involved him in something dangerous. She knows Mike thrives on these special projects.

Ashland appeals to his friend and best man – you can’t think I’m that cunning. This is a carefully calculated plot (that Victor’s bought into) Ashland won’t allow these people to destroy his accomplishments with the Newmans. Is that what Vikki is? An accomplishment? Nate balks.
