In Adam’s office, Nick’s updated by his parents that Vikki now believes them. She hasn’t reached out to the family – but, according to Victor’s people, she stayed in a hotel last night. Nick worries that Ashland’s planning his next move.

On the CL’s patio, Vikki flashes back to Ashland deciding that ‘this’ will never work (her family) he’s done trying.
Billy joins Vikki to ask what’s wrong – did Ashland take a turn for the worst? You look like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, he seems genuinely concerned.
At Society, Adam updates Sally as he looks over at Ashland; some people might think it time to panic. But you see an opportunity, she correctly guesses. While she grabs a table, Adam goes over to see if Ashland wants to make a deal.
Chelsea bids goodbye to an associate when Rey comes along at TGP to laugh and bond over ‘faking it til you make it. Chelsea likes to hang out with people she can be herself with. Rey couldn’t agree more.
Nick wishes he could get rid of Ashland. It’s not the end of it, Nikki warns. Getting rid of him isn’t the answer.
One thing will always be a constant – he’ll always care about Vikki. He tried to blow up her wedding because he thought she was making a mistake. The article ChanceCom published was true; Billy’s the one who lost his reputation. Vikki congratulates him on being right all along.
Chelsea catches herself before blathering on about Connor. Rey’s at the hotel for a spa gift certificate for Faith. Praising Rey as a great stepdad, Chelsea accepts the offer to bend his ear.
It was all a lie; Ashland’s cancer, his love for me, Vikki agonizes about how much she worried about him. I’m so shattered, she weeps. He lied about being sick?! OMG, Billy doesn’t even know what to say. Vikki regrets being angry at him – she’s angry at Ashland and herself for believing in him.
Walk away from Vikki and Newman Locke and Adam won’t publish Ashland’s lies – think how it’ll affect Harrison. He’s the only one you care about, Adam bets that’s why he was sent to Italy. You can kiss your son goodbye. It’s no threat. We have proof. Adam’s just looking for a solution.
While Nick and his parents are plotting their next step, Vikki tells Billy that Ashland took advantage of her love and ambition to get his hooks in the company. She wishes she listened to Billy (and her family) What happens now? he wonders.
