At Society, Sally’s saddened to hear that Rey’s dead – he and Sharon adored each other. Adam doesn’t think his reaching out to her would go over well; he doesn’t want to further upset Sharon.
Now home, Sharon tells Nick that she does need to go to the morgue – to see Rey one more time. She couldn’t do this without his support ~hug~ With the aid of a cane, Vikki limps in to say ‘I’m so sorry’.
Sally encourages Adam to talk to Sharon. She has no problem with him caring about his ex. No sooner has Adam wondered if Ashland caused the crash – he shows up. Adam makes a beeline to the bar to confront Ashland – we had a deal!
If there’s anything I can do… Vikki offers. Nick’s got it covered – we were just about to leave. Claiming to have forgotten something, Sharon runs up the stairs to collect herself.
Blasted by Nikki, Diane defends faking her death – she’d boxed herself into a corner. And the only way out of that box was to try to ruin my life? You should have stayed dead.
Vikki wishes she could have stayed with Rey after the crash. Was Ashland chasing you? Nick asks. No – he was following me – I told him it’s over. Nick won’t let her blame herself. Sharon comes down to say she doesn’t blame Vikki for the accident either (but unable to look her in the eye, tells Nick that she’s ready to go)
Adam grills Ashland – did you want to punish Vikki? You just want to see your sister taken down, Ashland accuses. Adam suspects he’s faking his injuries like he did cancer – Vikki won’t take you back; no one holds a grudge like my sister. Get out of town.
As Nikki continues to lash out at Diane and has no trouble convincing Jack and Phyllis to leave them alone.
As the argument continues, Diane manages to mention Nikki’s drinking and her fling with Deacon. You’re the same conniving little bitch you always were, Nikki’s sure everyone will see right through her act.
When Vikki hobbles into CL’s, Chelsea jumps up to offer assistance. Vikki reminds that she tried to kill Rey last year. I wasn’t in my right mind; she and Rey were friends.
