Restraining order in hand, Ashland marches into Newman Media to blame Victor (who dares him to breach the order so he lands himself behind bars)
Kyle got the impression his Dad’s concerned about getting hurt again. Summer wants to intercede, Kyle thinks they should work it out on their own.

Noah arrives and is introduced to Diane. When he and Ally engage in a spirited debate about The Grinning Soul, an amused Traci shoos them off.

Ashland knows Victor’s needed forgiveness for things he’s done and regretted. Victor shouts – you don’t understand the meaning of remorse. Now you can’t use that little boy as a reason to stick around. Take the 500 million dollars I gave you and get the hell out of town!!!!!
After a chit chat about how cute Ally and Noah are together, Traci reminds Diane that she already praised her for bringing Jack’s granddaughter into their lives. As usual, she manages to see the bright side and holds no malice towards Diane.
On the patio, Ally tells Noah that she doesn’t know what she’ll do next, or where. Her Dad dying and meeting a big family she didn’t know she had has thrown her a curveball.
Ashland warns Victor that the more he tries to run Vikki’s life, the more she’ll come to resent him (and for driving him away) Take your money and get the hell out of here, Victor orders (this time Ashland obeys)
Noah jokes that maybe it’s time Ally take the non-linear path (since she’s hyper-organized) She makes lists, he follows his instincts. They laugh again about The Grinning Soul.
My Baby, I’m so happy you’re back, Victor rushes into the office to hug Nikki. Vikki’s back (and using her cane due to a flare up) Victor has good news – he and Ashland had a productive meeting. Our problem might soon be over. What have you done now? Vikki snaps at her Dad.
Back in his suite, Ashland grabs his suitcase and starts to pack.
