Diane’s come to Jack’s office for his opinion on artwork for the Marchetti launch. He thinks it a big mistake for her to run everything by him. Kyles watches through the window.

Phyllis guesses correctly that Summer’s brought her to Society for a reason. Yes, she’s connected the dots – the reason you met with an LA reporter is Diane.

Running into Chelsea in the park, Sally saw her intense conversation with Adam on the rooftop – I hope everything’s OK.

Adam pokes his head into the hallway to make sure the coast is clear. Lucas, who stole Kevin’s laptop, can hack into it too. Adam just needs access to the police report on the Locke case. Kevin comes knocking – loudly. Adam! Open! The! Door!

Letting Kevin in, Adam has no idea what he’s talking about – I’m in a meeting with a business associate. Kevin wonders what kind of business they’re discussing – breaking into my car and stealing my computer? You’re wasting your time – there’s nothing on my computer and you won’t be able to get into it anyway. Play nice and I won’t press charges.

Chelsea assures Sally that she and Adam are fine. Due to shared history, all those years together, bringing a child into the world – we have an unshakable bond and will always be connected.

Jack wants Diane to stop second-guessing herself and trust her own judgment. Own your decisions. Next time, Diane will go to Mariah – but this time ….. She looks over his shoulder as Jack praises whatever’s on her tablet. Kyle barges in to scowl at his parents.

Summer knows that Talia Morgan’s staying at TGP with no check-out date. Phyllis isn’t planning a hatchet job on Diane. She wouldn’t screw up this chance to work with her daughter. Phyllis begged Nikki to take her to the meeting – I did it for you. Basically, she wanted to make sure Talia’s story on Ashland’s death didn’t throw Summer. Kyle and Harrison under the bus.

Sally acknowledges that Chelsea does indeed have ‘history’ with Adam – but there’s no going back, is there? she asks rhetorically. You’re history too, Chelsea dismisses their brief ‘affair’ but thinks it healthy and mature the way Sally and Adam have both moved on.

Threat, warning – call it whatever, Kevin just wants his computer back. Adam’s smug look is proof enough but with no cop and no warrant, Kevin’s forced to leave. Knowing this police report has something to do with Victor Newman, Lucas is increasing his price. If you deliver, I’ll make it worth your while, Adam promises.

In the lobby, Kevin calls Chloe to report that Adam called his bluff. No, the theft wasn’t a coincidence, there was a shady guy in Adam’s room. Where does that leave me? Screwed, he fumes.

Billy stops by the table to congratulate Phyllis on her new job at Marchetti. Yes, she’s looked over the sale agreement – it seems fine. Sign it and we’ll take the next step, no rush Billy says before heading over to the bar. Summer has to wonder if her Mother’s really ready to say goodbye to the hotel that means so much to her.
