At Newman, Vikki’s going full steam ahead with her plans to acquire Chancellor Winters. Yes, Dad’s onboard. Nick notes that she seems rattled. Yes, she has to go deal with a personal matter with one of the kids – it can’t go wrong.
On the CL’s patio, Chelsea thanks Billy for persuading Vikki. He makes it clear that this was Vikki’s decision and that they’ll be telling Johnny the truth today.
Audra thanks Nate for meeting her at Society before they go to CW for their meeting. She’d like the lay of the land; to know the players before the game begins.
At the office, Devon and Lily have a videocall with Jill. She’s thrilled to hear that they’re both ready to take CW public.
Unable to get Sally out of CL’s before Adam walks over, Chloe’s further disturbed by the ‘polite banter’ (with heavy flirtatious undertones)
Jill’s impressed that Lily’s already arranged a meeting with the IPO advisor, she recommended and that she was able to convince Devon. Yes, Billy (and especially) Nate will be there soon. The call ended, Devon expresses his concern about Billy’s commitment to CW.
Billy’s going to pick Johnny up and go to see Vikki. He cautions the excited Chelsea – and hopes she’s right that this is a first step toward something rewarding for all of them. Billy can only hope so.

Nick reassures Vikki – you ARE Johnny’s Mother. She prays she’s making the right choice.
Sally and Adam agree that moving on is best for both of them – no need for awkward feelings between us. After Adam leaves, Chloe’s pleased with their ‘maturity’. Sally then gets a text from Nick – ‘can you stop by’?
Nate speaks highly of Jill, Lily and Billy. Devon’s focused and single-minded. Having heard enough, Audra’s eager to get to the meeting (and take CW public)
Now at the office, Chloe notes that Sally’s had a lot of one on one meetings with Nick (who arrives on cue to ask for a word with Sally)
After Johnny runs off with his soccer ball, Vikki and Billy sit very closely to have a heart-to-heart talk about how great Johhny is and what fine parents they are. You ARE Johnny’s Mother, Vikki’s told again. Ready? Yes. Hey buddy, they call him back.
Chloe leaves Nick and Sally to talk. Neither has told anyone about ‘us’. When Nick invites Sally out to dinner, she’ll let him know. When he steps into her path, she sidesteps him and exits the office with a smile.
