Nate explains that Neil left him a seat on the board but no shares. Even if he did have shares, he wouldn’t want to be the kind of man who’d sell them. Nate must focus on earning his family’s forgiveness. Vikki understands and would like to reward Nate’s loyalty. CW’s loss is Newman’s gain.
After calling to make sure the private jet’s stocked with chocolate-covered strawberries, Kyle notes that Adam looks like hell. That’s why you’re in the fashion division, Adam’s jokes keep flowing. I told my Father you’d be a liability, Kyle’s smug.

Sally’s surprised to find Connor sitting by himself at CL’s. Mom dropped me off to meet my Dad – he’s late, but I’m not a kid. Are you here to take me to my Dad? That’d be cool with Connor.
Don’t you have an important meeting about evening gowns? Adam doesn’t appreciate Kyle’s lecture; men like you will never understand men like me. Kyle doesn’t care; he’s on vacation – Adam can keep digging that hole until he buries himself in it.
Shouldn’t you be packing for your honeymoon? Nick jokes. Summer can’t wait to get to Costa Rica but she’s nervous about leaving Marchetti (and her and Kyle’s Moms) Have a great trip, Nick leaves Kyle to tattle to Summer that Adam came to work late and hungover. But never mind – it’s honeymoon time.
Typing a quick message under the table, Sally converses with Connor. My Dad was happy when he was with you. He misses you, the boy opines.

Nick’s not sorry to hear that the CW deal is off and glad to hear that Vikki’s not mad at Nate – until he hears that she wants him to replace Sally.
Coming home to an empty apartment, Nate’s day seems about to get worse. Knock – knock, it’s Devon.
Nick disagrees with Vikki’s decision to hire Nate – his loyalties are flexible at best. He’d do a great job running Newman Media, Vikki doesn’t think Sally has the backbone. Nick disapproves.
Connor admits lying to his Mom by saying that he saw his Dad inside CL’s – he just wanted to get out of the car. She thinks we’re fine, but we’re not. Not anymore. Adam pokes his head in from the patio.
