Hey bud. Sorry he got caught up with work, Adam dismisses Sally with a ‘thank you – I’ve got it from here’. Thanking Connor for hanging out with her, Sally reluctantly leaves CL’s.

At CW, Lily’s still reeling from her cousins’ betrayal – do I even know Nate? She’s so hurt – thinking their family wasn’t like the Newmans or Abbotts (no offense to Billy)

Nate saw no other way to prove himself so found an opportunity and took it. You don’t know how to manage people. Devon believes his track record speaks for itself. Nate disagrees – you don’t know how to delegate or trust anyone else’s opinions.

Devon defends his management style – how is MY ego ‘shining through’? Where’s the guy who begged for his job? He now knows that Nate only came back to CW to screw over his family. Lily and I don’t trust you anymore – Elena’s gone. Nate wonders how Amanda would feel if she knew Devon was stalking his ex.

Things are a bit awkward when Nick drops by Sally’s office. Both had a talk with Summer – both told her they’re just friends.

While Lily doesn’t want to hold Billy back; he worries about the optics if he left right now and hates leaving Lily to deal with this on her own. You’re not leaving me – you’re coming home to me, she says with a kiss. Billy emailed his Mom – she’s not going to take this well.

Adam gently scolds Connor for waiting alone at CL’s – your Mom and I love you more than anything in the world. No, Mom doesn’t love me like she did before, he pouts.

Mom being sad has nothing to do with you, Adam promises Connor – you’re her heart and soul. Connor sulks – if she misses Johnny so much, she shouldn’t have given him up.

Sally and Nick compare notes on Adam. He was pissed off and hungover – and in a lot of pain, Nick knows that their spending time together is taking a toll on him – and you (Sally) too.

Nate and Devon continue to argue. No, he hasn’t forgiven Devon for what happened to his hand. You had sex with my girlfriend, Devon reminds. You took away my career, my passion, my drive, Nate tried to forgive Devon and move on to something new and exciting – but you wouldn’t allow me to do my job.
