At CW, Devon’s not sure whether he believes Tucker. After what happened with Nate, he tells Lily that he’s not sure who he can trust.
In Vikki’s office, Nate informs that their plan has been exposed; not by Elena, but by me.
YOU exposed our plan?! Why?! Vikki’s astonished. Hearing that Elena left Nate, she’s sorry – my chat with her probably made things worse. Nate didn’t want to lose Elena or his family but has lost them all anyway.
Adam’s not in the mood. Well, get in the mood, Nick snaps. Why would you lure Sally up here under false pretenses? He will NOT put her in the middle of their feud.
Summer’s not there on business. Why are you spending time with my Dad outside the office? I saw you in each others’ arms yesterday at CL’s.
Sally sees nothing wrong with getting a supportive embrace or pat on the back from a friend. Are you dating my Dad to make Adam jealous? Or because he’s in at Newman and Adam’s not? So, Nick and I couldn’t possibly just enjoy spending time together? Sally’s sarcastic.
Sally’s not in the middle of anything because Adam can’t compete with his ‘noble big brother’ who keeps playing the role of protector. Nick points out that he didn’t rush over here last night. Cape at the dry cleaner? Adam quips.
Lily feels the same way as Devon does – she can’t believe Nate would do this to his own family. Since they don’t know which CEO he was conspiring with, Devon wants to pull the plug on the IPO and is stunned that Lily doesn’t immediately agree.
Vikki’s so sorry Nate’s alliance with her has cost him so much. He’s sorry he let her down. But, don’t worry about Devon and Lily – they suspect Tucker, not you. All may not be lost then, Vikki still wants to buy Nate’s shares – what do you have to lose?
Nick wonders if Adam really plans to accept this situation he created. Yes, rest assured; you can run back to Sally to tell her you saved the day yet again. I have a job to get to, unless you’re gonna take that away from me too, Adam storms out.
